OkaY! Still no sign of MP-SS in socal beside's SD. Went to WM in Duarte, again lots of restock on deluxes, besides 77 or 08 BB.

Ok, I called Chino hills WM several times yesterday (because I don't live close) and was told by several TOY DEPARTMENT employess that they didn't have any MPSS, I called this morning and talked to the guy in the toy dept. and he said he had twelve yesterday, but they sold out ! I'm like "I called several times yesterday and all employees in the toy dept. told me that they didn't have any" freaking WM, I should have just driven down there !

Twee, it is the one you're probably thinking about, the Walmart on Broadway in Chula Vista had 9 last night. If you have an extra next Thursday, if they're sold out, I'll definitely take one...

Went to San Bernardino Wal-mart after class last night and they had none and I went after class this morning around 10am and they had one masterpiece starscream and I snatched it up quickly. I have no idea how many they had but i took the one left. It also seemed like they had no where to put them though as every spot on the shelves were taken. If i happen to see any around my parts I will gladly pick one up for you carabuser if you want. I guess you have to get extremely lucky with these because all the other wal-marts around my area had none. Also, if anyone has seen any cobra commander 25th anniversary figures I would love to know where at, :grin:

lol i just bought a cobra commander 25th at walmart today. was looking for MP SS but didnt see it at the laguna nigel store. there were only two figures that were hanging, that and a snake eyes. so at least i didnt go empty handed.

btw i saw a CC 25th at the target in laguna niguel. i bought a red ninja there.

I'll check Walmart El monte, but I do know that there is at least a scalper lurking at that Walmart.

fyi, I wouldn't trust too much on their inventory info; I called a specific Walmart yesterday with the UPC, and they said they had none in stock, none in order, and told me they didn't think they were gonna get any in.

A fellow poster here that lives close to me PMed me this morning saying he went to that Walmart and found 20 of them in the overstock.

Sure enough, I was just there buying more extras for less fortunate TF collectors in UK and Canada, and they were there. Except now they only have 3 left.

I've got some good news for Orange County collectors: MP SS will be arriving in OC at at least one Walmart very soon - apparently, the manager, who I've been talking to over the last couple days, is a collector himself, has been fielding many a request for SS, and due to heavy and surprising 20th Prime sales, has ordered at least 2 cases of MP SS (though I might be wrong here).

PM me for the exact Walmart and arrival estimation, because if what the manager has said is true, there's people looking for this thing, and I want to make sure we get it, not the scalpers. In the same PM, I'll also tell you where the staging area is and who to ask for when you call.

Also, I'll hide as many as I can when I can for fellow collectors. PM me.

Does anyone know which Walmarts in San Diego had the MP Starscreams? Of all the days I don't call to check, they get them in yesterday. Such bad timing on my part! I called the San Marcos one a few mins ago and the guy told me that he didn't think they were going to get them. Kinda odd, isn't it? I will be up at OC tomorrow, so I'm going to try my luck there. If anyone knows which ones there have it, could you please be kind to keep me informed? Thanks! I would be happy to at least grab one.

Is some one hitting WM Duarte tonight after 10 ? PM so I can give you my cell number if they have any MPSS, I live a little ways away, but am willing to drive. I might hit up my local WM after 10 pm to see if they start stocking anything, I will let you all know if I find anything.

Hey SD peeps! Poway Walmart's got a few on display! I called tonight and the lady said the UPC# did not come up in their system. So I told myself "F**k it!" and decided to check there anyway. You can never seem to rely on them when asking about this type of stuff on the phone. Anyway, just keeping you all informed. Who knows, there may be more in their warehouse. I didn't bother asking. My gf was pleased to hear we didn't have to spend the weekend searching Walmarts for these mofos! Hahaha! She gets annoyed with my Transformer hunting.

NOTE TO FELLOW CALIFORNIA COLLECTORS:

On the TFW2005 sightings thread, they've taken up a policy to keep sightings to mere hints, asking members to PM other members for exact locations.

I think this is how we should do it as well. MP Starscream is perhaps the #1 anticipated figure of the year, and we need to make sure that the ones getting him are collectors and toy-buying kids, not scalpers. We also need to make sure that MP SS, being what he is, does not turn into another CC Bumblebee.

I'll reiterate my simple request: if you spot MP SS, please do not say the exact location: simply say what county the store is in, and perhaps the quantity of the Starscreams. Those looking for MP SS would then PM the sightee for exact store location and other info. This way, scalpers do not cull ANY information from any of our posts, and Starscreams around the state go to loving, caring homes, rather than into the degenerate hands of money grubbing scalpers.

Also, if you do find MP SS, do the community a service, and, if possible, hide a couple.

MPSS just came in about 30 mins. before closing at my walmart, they were not out on the shelves yet, still in the shipping boxes. this is in North Orange County CA.
