Don't get too excited. It's just an RiD recolor - but from a guy who has trouble paying for his school and doctor bills, it's all I can afford - I really like seeing photo galleries on this site and others. It's like taking a trip to a convention without the travel costs or uncomfortable hotel bed.

No, he's just giving good common sense. If you want to help out, do so of your own free will, but don't jeopardize your personal finances to do so.

Actually, I agree with AK here guys. While I really appreciate all of the donations, this request was not an end of the world request. My camera is broken which sucks but I will buy a new one this weekend using some of my money and the donations I have received this week. There will be new galleries by Sunday night. Please do not make donations that are a detriment to your personal finances.

Okay, maybe it was already suggested but I'm not willing to page through everything to find out. Maybe you have a good reason to buy through Best Buy, I don't know. My digital camera that we spent over $500 on was recently stolen. We needed a new one for the birth of our child, so we ran out and bought another one from Wal-Mart (I know, I know, hear me out!) The camera we bought was an upgrade from the model that we had originally bought, and was half the price. This isn't a cheap piece of garbage either, it's a really good 7 megapixel Kodak. So maybe you would have better luck buying from some place other than Best Buy (the mark-up there is incredible). Anyway, take it or leave it, just a suggestion.

Nothing personal against him, I don't know him like that. I'm just saying, if you need a hand, and people can help out and want to, then so be it, let us help.

Well I'm back on my PC after a nasty ordeal that caused my old HDD to become unusable. Glad to be back on Seibertron, feels like home . Sorry to hear about your camera being broke if I had any spare cash I'd gladly send it your way but sadly I do not. Do you have an estimate of your total funds and do you already have a Camera model picked out?

I think a donations chart would be a great idea, so we can see how generous this great community is.

Incidentally, wouldn't that be more than enough just to fix your existing camera? That way, no-one else would need to part with their hard-earned dollars.

If that person was purely !DOING! thing for the fandom and only the fandom I would agree. It's a popular misconception, one that I'm sure Ryan likes to promote, that everything he does is a selfless act to make the fandom and the peope who use this site happier and in no way self serving. That is not to say he doesn't have a great site here with lots of content and useful fun stuff for Transfans, but if you think thats all there is to it you are sorely mistaken.

I agree, I just wanted to stress that if you can't afford it don't donate. No one should be under any illusions that Ryan can't afford to replace his camera out of his own pocket, you are contributing to his bank balance just by being here. If you dont think that's enough by all means donate.

Just sent my donation to you Ryan... it's really not much, but it's all I can afford at the moment.

I love site and the galleries so much, I had to give something. Hope you get your new camera soon! And at least you'll have a brand new one for all the avalanche of movie stuff that'll come out in a few months!

I mean absolutely no disrespect to the staff at Seibertron, but I will not be donating due to my standpoints on the matter, which I will not delve into here.

But that's just me; so if everybody else wants to donate, knock yourselves out.
