in my neck of the woods, comic stores always get the american versions (where distribution comes from i think) so they get things earlier than regular stores. do the deluxes have the comic books included? thats the telltale sign along with single language (english) packaging.

I found a bunch of stuff in the Montreal region (Quebec, Canada) if anyone is interested.

Target now has the Stomp and Chomp Grimlock.

And so does ToysRus on Decarie Blvd (the picture is from ToysRus)

Also at Toysrus were the generations legends figures Tailgate+ Groundbuster and Skrapnel+ Reflector, The Grimlock Evolution 2 pack, and the Flip and Change Bumblebee.

The Hexbugs products were also at this ToysRus on Decarie in the Transformers section

The Walmart right next to this ToysRus had the AOE Strafe, Bumblebee and Stinger 3 pack at the ungodly price of 29.99 $cdn

Target has all their exclusives out, I did not get any though. This was found at the Target in Centre Laval, Quebec. The Grimlock and Optimus set is sold out though but you can get a raincheck for it as I did. I left an image of the price and bar code for you below.

I know but this is the price at all Targets in our region, I checked. Also, it seems a trend that target exclusives are cheaper than the original products. Not this much cheaper but it is a trend. And now I can wait until they get some downtown where I work and get it for 17$ even if it is a mistake and gets a price increase. I am curious to see how it all turns out. Also, I would like to take this moment to point out that the scalpers have started taking advantage of this, as the link below shows, please beware of that.

ok... so if any of you saw my thread of misinformation, you'll know that my local TRU's have MP grimlocks, and theres a 25% off TF's sale right now so you can score a grimlock for 75 bucks. i didnt bother posting it in here because there were only two (and i bought one of em).... but i went back today.... and theres a bunch. so if you live in edmonton alberta and want an MP grimlock, head to the west end TRU (9908 170 St) and snatch one up for a steal!

Thanks for the confirmation. You know the Target Canada CEO said the following in a news article:

'While these are just some of the changes, Target still needs to win over shoppers who may feel burned by negative experiences over the past year. Schindele (CEO) said he’s confident that more exclusives and better pricing will help shift sentiment in Target’s favour.'

Hell, if he at least keeps this exclusive at this price in stock, I will definitely be won over

Also, I would like to point out how cool it is that the prices for the other transformer exclusives at actually the same as the american prices before conversion. That's pretty sweet. Too bad 2 of those exclusives blow really hard, especially the titan figure

The 2-pack with FOC Grimlock is great mind you.

Very true, it doesnt look bad and makes a good value. However, this is exactly the kind of item that will still be on shelves later and go on heavy liquidation, like what we saw with those Rise of the Predacon exclusives.

True that. I bet some scalpers are camping in front of Targets to just pounce on the things as soon as they land on the shelves. My only hope is they buy so much, that they get stuck with leftover stocks and they end up losing money over them.

That Silver Knight OP and G1 colored Grimlock set is amazing. I was lucky enough to grab the last one on the shelf and I was amazed that it was only 17$. IT'S THE STANDARD PRICE OF A DELUXE. GRIMLOCK IS LITTERALLY FREE IN THAT PACKAGE! Remove Grimlock, keep the single Optimus at 17$, and you get your standard, run of the mill exclusive. Add a FREE and unique voyager gGrimlock to the mix, and you get one mad promo! TrU would have sold that set 60$.

There has been a misunderstanding, I was talking about the silver optimus and grimlock exclusive CONSTRUCT BOT set. I was following the thread from when it was first mentioned. I dont think we need to worry about that set going away and I can wait for it to be on clearance
