I highly doubt that will be the case. Toysrus did not get the past 3 generations waves until at least 6 months after the states. The first time I saw windblade was when they had that half price on all generation deluxes deal. And guys, think about it, we only got Roadbuster and Skybyte about 2 months ago. This is just feeling long because we really want these but so far they are not taking longer than any previous wave since the time I started collecting.

I like your positivity, but with Wave 1 CW saturating shelves so bad that we can barely get Wave 2, I'm not as hopeful. Sadly I think we would have had them if Target didn't close up shop, that's where I found the Windblade assortment (almost the same time as the Americans).

Maybe. We have been quite lucky with Transformers that we have not seen to many skipped waves in recent years, but it can happen. The simple fact is if the store buyers haven't purchased them, we don't get them.

What may be better than just waiting would be to try reaching and confirming with TRU or Hasbro Canada if they are on their way, initial customer support won't be too much help on this one so it may take a bit of back&forth before getting an answer.

Look at the last GIJoe movie, the figures had 3 waves, but as far as TRU is concerned, the 2 wave doesn't exist for them and the third wave if they had them would have been the bare minimum (the ones I found were all at Target, if they had earlier waves my local one wasn't open at that point), But wave 1... I can still find wave 1 on some TRU shelves. Marvel Black Series may also be effected by this, as the wave with Death's Head, Drax and such I haven't seen boo of at any of the local TRU's.

Again I'm not trying to be negative, especially because I really don't want or need to find out if worst case situation, it wasn't ordered because of an outdated "Girl Robots????" mind set by some out of touch buyer(s).

But I am not comparing target or Walmart who usually get their stuff first. I am only comparing tru with tru since they are the only store that eventually got everything (Walmart never had roadbuster, to my knowledge). At my TRU, there is a seperate arrangement of pegs for combiner wars and last year's generations figures which are being treated as this year's figures (since many are). I feel TRU is dinstinguishing these two lines, and the different prices help solidify this hypothesis. Pretty much, CW is a different line and is treated as such and thus we shouldnt use it to compare something being late or not.

Indeed. My local Laval TrU finally have, at least, wave 2 CW deluxes. They didnt had much left, but I managed to grab Air Raid to finally complete my Superion!

Welp, took a stop into a TRU while waiting for a friend, found Leader Thundercracker on shelf, so he's hitting mass retail

Saw one today in Langley, at Walmart of all places. I was too broke to get him, but all the wave 2 limbs were there, too... so I got Air Raid to finish off my Superion. Also saw Huffer.

Be careful. This sale WONT apply for Combiner Wars.
Only for the regular Generations. If you have missed some toys from the Minicon/Skywarp/Scoop wave, you're in luck. If not, pass.

I found that while at work and just wanted to get it up ASAP. Sorry I didn't specify, but its definitely only for regular Generations Deluxe's, which is awesome since there's been a flood of them hitting TRU's lately. Happy hunting folks

Ha, I knew it. I can imagine getting a few complaints tomorrow during my shift with people wanting to get CW stuff for 1/2 off. Thanks for the heads up about it being only Generations stuff, though my store hasn't really had a flood of Generations stuff lately. May be the right time to get Skybyte finally if there's any left

Oooohhh... yeah... SkyByte isn't part of that half off either. I assume so at least, it just says Deluxe

Well the advertisement is pretty vague, but when I go into work tomorrow I'll get any further details and post them if needed. If it's just deluxes then I won't need anything since I have what I wanted from the most recent Generations deluxe waves

UPDATE: Yup, confirmed it's just Generations Deluxes and AOE Titan Hero size figures that are half off

From my understanding, this is the very first QUEBEC sighting of Generations Acid Storm. I fond him at winners for 7.99. This means that now every legends generations figure from last year found it's way to Canada.

I found my Acid Storm at a Winners just before Xmas time last year as well

No sighting or hauls today. But I have an experience to share...

WJ made me hip to another place to find sightings for my area, Cyberton.ca. There's a thread dedicated to Alberta, but it's quite dominated by Calgary. Someone else suggested an Edmonton specific Facebook page, and while its a bit better info-wise.... those are some negative and foul mouthed people! I was actually taken aback. They don't like anything, its just F F F F.

To me, there should be a certain decorum no? Come see me at work, everyone has a trucker mouth and I fit in quite well. So it's not as if I'm overly sensitive to cursing. But outside of work (and internet stuff) it takes anger to get me cursing, and a lot of it.

I still watch the FB page, but I try not to comment.

Sorry guys, I didnt know he was found such a while back. In quebec we never got him in stores and this is the very first time I see him, I thought it was the same with the rest of canada. But I am glad to know you already had this guy. It's stuff like this that gives me hope for arcee.

Not to beat a dead horse, but I posted in this thread on April 25th that I bought AcidStorm at Target. picked him up the first week of January.
