Still waiting almost 24 hours later for his site to go live. Right now its still on "maintenance mode". If Im reading his posts correctly, it seems he has canned the "limited" number releases in favor of accepting all pre-orders within the 1st 48 hours of his site going live. That's a very respectable move since many of us were waiting at 1 PM PST yesterday for nothing. Nobody should have to sit in front of a computer all day hitting refresh to compete with other buyers. Ive always said he should adopt the "make to order" approach style of business but send invoices out in small groups to avoid a Maiden Japan style scenario. Either way, when his site goes live, I plan on placing a pretty large order now. Thanks Azim. As far as feedback on size for the Stunticon guns...keep them small pistol sized guns so they dont look like rifles. Keep the big gun big as it is perfect for Menasor. Maybe do a smaller version for motormaster that doesnt seem over sized.

He's said on facebook that he'll honour all pre-orders made within the first 48 hours of the pre-orders going live, regardless if it's above the advertise "Limited" number.

That said, I want that Menasor gun for my FP Menasor.

I think he is going to have a good turnout and make a lot of money this time around. It may make him consider a more traditional "make to order" approach in the future. I waited on that Deathsaurus gun too long and by the time I was ready, they were all gone. Hope he considers giving those another run. I dont know how long resin molds last and how many uses you can get out of them, but I would think revisiting older molds on a make to order basis is profitable and doesnt leave him with leftover unwanted stock. So now I sit patiently sipping on as beer waiting to place my order.

RF-017 - ROAD SHOGUN upgrade head for Combiner Wars Menasor! This is a G1 toy inspired head, given a more samurai styling. This head has 6 variants, based on eyes (painted or light piped) and three facial expression, Calm, Angry, and Rage. The options are not interchangeable, so you will have to order the combination you like best, as that will be how the head will be produced, due to parts needing to be glued. The price for each head will be $20.00. The photos show a prototype version. The final pieces will have the same finish all Renderform products have, and the faces will be more defined. Feedback is welcomed while the design is being finalized. CHECK the entire gallery for all the combination options.

And the second Menasor head has been revealed, Road Bandit, based on the G1 cartoon Menasor's head design. All photos and details can be found on the website.

Please be aware, the only item I can not accomadate, if demand exceeds it, is the RFX-008R Red Guard Steelcore set, as it has a discounted pricing and takes alot of work to make. That will be a set in stone run of 25 sets.

I got a set of G1 Stunticon guns (plus the MM/Menasor one), both banshee blades, and the frost fury blade.

I might add more later (that green fury blade would go great with EVA Prime...), but I wanted to get that minimum in.

Okay, the Menasor head was a big surprise for me. It's hard to decide, but I think I'm going Road Shogun.

Venk - what would be SUPER AWESOME is if you created some type of gift set for RF-17. This is going only by what I *think* you're doing here, but please humor me: I'm guessing the face plate is a separate piece from the helmet and eyes. I would be totally into buying a set at a bit higher price if it had the following: 1 helmet, 1 eyes (painted or light piped), and all 3 face plates. Not sure if that's even feasible based on how you designed them, but would make a really kick ass set. And at least cut down production time of making multiple helmets.

Anyways, thanks for this round of upgrades. A new head, Stunticon weapons, Animated Menasor head (*swoon*) and a Jetfire rifle are going to be ordered. I'll expect them sometime in September

*edit - oh damn, almost passed up the Eliminator gun. I'm not fully awake yet*

i just ordered the g1 guns , which i would like to see a bit shorter so they look more like pistols than machine guns

Purple MM/Menasor gun , i wonder if it will fit the PE hands?

and the g1 menasor head with clam face and painted eyes , so the eyes dont look dead when theres no light shining through .

Not fully convinced that Menasor needs a new head and my stunticons will probably not be in robot mode long enough to display the guns.

However, I just saw the Go Prime and Leo Prime heads and those look outstanding. Also might pick up that Animated Menasor head just so I can be reminded of the awesomeness that could have been and cry.

The current design for the head has all the parts glued together. But I was thinking of ways to make it so the face could be removed. If possible, the final design could allow me to ship each head with all three faces. I'll see how things work out for the final production piece.

If the PE hand can hold 5mm handle weapons, it should work fine.

If you have the original black version, I don't recommend picking up the metallic one. The difference is not that huge, unless their side by side, or seen up close.

I've got two of the original run, but that red one is realllly tempting for my HasbroFire. It ALMOST looks chromey. It just looks surprisingly awesome in red!

Interesting. It's hard for me to give orange energy weapons to Ginrai. When he has blue light piping and chest windows, my OCD kicks in and he MUST have blue!

Thanks. I figure ginrai has an orange sheild/gun so why not an orange sword to go with it ? In a perfect world xovergen would do an orange trailerforce, but after a year I doubt thats happening. I guess they dont like my money.

Here is a quick mock up to show how scaled down versions of the Stunticon guns will look like, using Breakdown and Dragstrip's designs. The bottom row is the current over sized prototypes. Middle row is scaled down to 75%, while the top row is 50% of the size. The peg handles can not be scaled down, so you can see in relation to that, how each gun will look like. At the 75% size, the guns would be in line with previous guns I've made for deluxe kits, like the Red Alert kit. The 50% size would be just small than the hand pistol from the Gold Scout kit. Photos have been attached for reference.

Now that botcon is over, I hope Azim is working full force on the stunticon parts. I really wanna have them in hand by the time takara menasor drops.

I would also like to see Azim make a G1 Venom head for the yellow botcon waspinator. Then I can swap out some of the green parts from a regular waspinator and have a nice stand in for venom to complete the deluxe insecticons crew.
