Yeah. If there are no other, better offerings, I can very easily live with these add-ons. They look decent enough stowed in alt mode.

The wings alone round hoist off, altogether looks nice. I will be picking both sets up or is it one big set ?.. since trailbreaker don't have much going on.

These are really nice, I like how the Hoist one incorporates the crane arm he comes with.
If you take the back mounted missiles or whatever from this set for Trail, and use it along with the Belezeboss offering you can have a pretty accurate representation of the idw incarnation.
What's even cooler is that both mount the gun on a different arm, further differencing the figures. Man I love upgrade kits like these. If I still collected main line toys I would get this set and the Belzeboss set, two Trails and and two Hoists then make a Classics and an idw version of both.

Love those wings for Hoist. Definitely getting this.
The arms cannons look kinda cool, not exactly G1 accurate though. Wish Trailcutter had a shoulder cannon like his cartoon design.
I feel someone from Shapeways will make some cool arm cannons though...

I wish they would have included a black head for Hoist, but in a worst case scenario, Ill buy an extra Hoist and take care of that myself.

I'd say Hoist upgrade is the meat of this set and is much appreciated. Trailbreaker's upgrade isn't bad and will be very welcome if they come together.

Yes, these are needed.
I just got Turdcutter and he's kind of disappointing.
This helps.
Hoist always looked better of the two from this mold IMO, but the add on kit raises his stock even more.
