Different categories to be exact, which shouldn't pose a problem per se. However, I could see "Trailblazer" not be used for Trailbreaker, for the same reason Jazz was renamed "Meister" for the Alternators line; in Jazz' case the Honda Jazz.

Too many to list that could make fore really awesome new figures. Dinobots and a Rodimus would be nice. Animated Hot Rod is a great start, just hope they release it
on our shores so I have a chance to acquire it.

Though Animated did some great versions of a few of the dinobots. Classics style to the rest and the previously done of the dinobots, would be much appreciated by many IMHO.

BTW I did the resize on the original picture to get us a quality size for us in need of a Hot Rod opening the matrix sig picture. Kinda kewl you found it on Google image though ^^

You know, I'm not really passionate that they 'remake' anyone.

I love my G1's, and am running out of room for all but the best of my G1 redux et al.


It's sad, so sad that I said that...but it's how I feel. I could list a bunch of guys that were bricks that need articulation to really be perfect, but that would be a lot of figures. The Alternators, classics, and Masterpieces have really done a nice job of updating a lot of the characters who needed it. Most new lines now have some homage or another to a G1-form of a character, whether it's a repaint of the new toy, or the original colors they make it in.

I guess I'm still waiting on a proper combiner that also homages a G1 combiner team. RIght now, in order to have these we need the FP stuff, which is fantastic, but expensive. If TTHBRO would just give them articulation and five different molds that transform into robots (or three, or six, or whatever), I might be happy.

Well, no one is forcing you to buy them. If you don't want to give them your money for these, that is your choice. I just started this because I know that there are a lot of people out there that feels that a toy line should have this character or that character and I was curious what they all felt was needed.

While this is a stretch of need, I think it would be cool if they gave the Hot Shot treatment to Sideburn.

The Machine Wars jets and towtrucks were far too small. Deserve Deluxe size.

Don't blame Hasbro for so many characters being so fitting for the Sideswipe/Sunstreaker mold.

Alright, fellow Seibertronians, now that the 2010 toyline(s) have officially kicked off, I have a question for all of you: who do you think Hasbro is missing this year? A better way to ask this is, who do YOU want them to make this year?

My top six wants:

:BOT:
1) Deluxe Class Energon Ironhide- a remake of this awesome character as a deluxe would be SWEET.

2) Scout Class Gears- it's kinda a given he needs a new toy, and -with the announced scout Windcharger- would look sweet next to him. Two of the coolest Autobot mini-vehicles!

3) Voyager Class HFTD Sringer- I don't know, maybe a heavy retool of Movie 1 Incinerator? Anyway, we need a bigger Movie 2 Springer (or I do, at least).

:CON:
1) Deluxe Class WFC Starscream- uh, we have Soundwave, now what about our favorite air commander? If "success breeds more success," then where is Starscream. War for Cybertron's doing good, isn't it?

2) Voyager Class Motormaster- here's a way to get rid of all the Movie 1 & 2 Optimus Primes left over: repaint them into Motormaster! Give him orange piping and windows, a decepticon symbol on the front, and he's all set to once again be King of the Road (until he meets HFTD Battle Blades OP)

3) Deluxe Class WFC Shockwave- it's about time we got a new G1 Shocky, and WFC Shockwave fits the bill. I'd love to see him become a figure!


And now I ask, who do you want this year? Oh, and if Hasbro's reading this, hi designers! Could you possibly listen to us like you do on occasion?

I did know about OverKill, but it's sort of...big...and not all that OverKill-ish.
I guess I meant more a G1 styled, where they're all Cassettes and such.
