Go for another canon! There're plenty still available.
This makes me think that I should put up another shameless solicitation...(rubs chin in thought)

I dunno I always find that when you write for a character of someone else you always end up out of character or write out your fantasy's for that character.
An internet critic named Linkara gave a really good example in one episode for a writer having Deathstroke in an issue of... some comic.
Where as normally Deathstroke is tactical, moving around, taking advantage of the surroundings. In this he was basically over powered somehow.. I mean at one point to stop A green lantern all he did was place his hand over the ring and the explanation was "My will is stronger."
I don't want to make that sort of mistake.

Understandable. However, the canons played in this RPG are mostly an amalgamation of the original G1 cartoons and the IDW comics. So there is a bit of leeway when it comes to the characteristics and personalities of the characters.

Yeah, sorry 'bout that. Let me ask you something: what kind of character are you looking to play...personality wise I mean?

I'd like to play someone incredibly manipulative with a silver tongue. I figured Slipstream since well I could sum her up as female starscream..
Can I be lulzy and go for an "epic trap" or would that be considered too adult?

Well, you could always go for an Autobot! *wink wink, nudge nudge* ... Say no more!

I would say that it's not only too adult it's also twisted...Twisted I like, but that's just me.

Next random idea!
Concept! A corrupt autobot of sorts?
OH! I have an alright idea! Does anyone have a random character in their back story of one of their fanmade characters?

Well in my sample post on Nebulos with Nightbeat, there was a Decepticon Spy named Steampunk. Or disguised as Steampunk, that is. He ended up stabbing someone who found one of his powder-bombs with a Plasma knife that he clumsily stored in his pocket.
Or you could go with Siren or Minerva. Nightbeat and Hosehead are lonely! (They are also fleeing the Insecticons.)
Come to think of it... A fan-made named Steampunk that transforms into an old Automobile/train that was in a museum exhibit might be pretty neat...
I will post soon. I have some free time (Possibly) this weekend.

Well, Umbra, an Autobot of mine used to have a Decepticon friend who "died." He fell to his death in the backstory, but you know. He could have survived. If you're interested, take a peek at Umbra's profile for more information.
Anyway, best of luck to you finding a character that suits you!

I've tried to do that, myself. Unfortunately, I still have to get up on Friday morning to go to work, which ruins the entire illusion.

I'm facing that same dilemma.
But it's gonna work, dammit!

I got a Autobot mech named Cruiser, a Decepticon femme named Windreaper (although, I think I'd like to keep her to myself for now), and an unnamed Autobot femme who transforms into some type of small plane. (She's NOT an Aerialbot) She kinda a fly-girl.
And #Sideways#, don't get your hopes up, but I read Siren's profile, and I liked what I read.
Oh, and I was in a play where I got my head chopped off. YAY!
