Cliffjumper was last seen on the Ark-22, but he hasn't been played since 2013. I found no posts with him in the Fallen battle, but that doesn't mean he couldn't have been there doing something in the background. Or he could've stayed behind for some reason on the Ark-22. Since he had no player during the Fallen battle his whereabouts during that time are undecided. Regardless, he is definitely on either the Ark-22 or the Guardian at this point. Hope this helps.

Ah, nice find. Didn't think to look for him there. Still, no one is left in Africa. They were all picked up in the Shuttle Serenity and taken to the Fallen battle. So, it's safe to say that Cliffjumper went with them and took part in the fight. He just wasn't played again from that point onward. So, it's very possible that Cliffjumper was damaged during the Fallen battle and is now on board the Guardian waking up from repairs.

What did you guys think of Transformers: Prime? And, also, the new Robots in Disguise cartoon? I've watched clips from both shows on YouTube, and I'm thinking maybe I should buy them.
From the few things I've seen, they both look pretty cool, and could help with my muse.
I know, I know. You're thinking, "The hell? He hasn't seen TF: Prime?" lol I'm getting there. It's just taken an extremely long time.

I enjoyed Prime. It's the one series outside of the old G1 that I actually watched all the way through. I'd say it's good muse fuel. Quite a few characters from that show got G1-ized to fit in the game here.
TF series get started up and cancelled so quickly it's tough for me to get invested in them. For my own taste, that's one strong advantage of the comics for my muse. There's links from current stuff all the way back to Furman's original run when IDW first got the license. I like that.
And that started in what...2005? 2005. Good lord. *turns to dust*

Transformers: Prime is really, really excellent. Probably my favorite TFs series. Maybe. It's up there in any case. Very good.
*sweeps up the Sid dust*
As for RID, I haven't actually seen it myself. It's the sequel to Prime though, far as I can tell, so if you had to pick one to watch, it should probably be Prime. I hear RID is good if somewhat more lighthearted than Prime.

Same here. Loved Prime, not seen RiD. Prime was probably the best TF show to date. Even better than Animated.

I'm in the minority around here where I would prefer Animated over Prime. Where else would you get Weird Al playing Wreck-Gar and proclaiming he "Dares to be Stupid"?

Prime and RID are aimed at two different audiences. Prime is more for the teens and older. It deals with more mature concepts and doesn't shy from violence.
RID is aimed at 5 to 10 year olds. Think more buddy flick as Bee tries to adjust to a new life and new role as leader (that he really is not up to). He suddenly becomes the mature one.
It deals with more whimsical themes, especially when Sideswipe and Grimlock (forget all you know about the two characters) and struggles to fit in and grow up (see the message
). They have less violence, but they don't exclude it (like Rescue Bots does).
With Prime the important thing to remember is that Hasbro pushed things and they weren't able to complete some story lines and others were rushed in before they were ready. Second half of season two and season three, which writing wise were the best (the writers and actors hit their stride) but plot wise left a lot b to be desired.
Of you view those parts as individuals rather than part of a whole, it is more enjoyable. The Beast Hunters parts felt very strained, like no one knew what to do (by far the best episode of the entire series is Thirst).
RID, if you watch... you have to completely ditch any expectations. It may, story wise, be the continuation of Prime, but to view it that way is an injustice. View it as loosely related and it is far more enjoyable.
It is meant to be a bit campy, fun, and not serious like Prime was.The writing is just as solid and this season's episode (season 2, I haven't seen this wek'so episode yet) you feel the writers are really hitting their stride. It feels different, less strained and more of a purpose has been found.
The series as a whole, though, you can't watch as a continuing story. They are more stand alone episodes building on a base rather than building on each other (as Prime built a story episode by episode, RID is connected by a story each episode but builds without interconnection)
All in all... both series are wonderful. But RID will feel more directed to children and all preconceived ideals about most characters... throw them them out. Especially the Cons. Don't view them as the Canon we know, rather different characters with the same name. It's the ONLY way to be able to watch Grimlock and not cry.RID Grimlock is fantastic... but not the Grimlock we know and love. View them through an entirely different lens.
And... I missed you my Aussie! I haven't talked to you on forever!

Guys, thanks a bunch for this.
I'm pretty much sold on Prime, and RiD is something I'll probably get eventually, too.
Animated is another show I'm looking at. Don't know what I think about it yet, but it does look all right and it is available in a box set, unlike certain other TF shows. >_>

Animated is very different. Not bad different (except for the chins), but different. Still interesting and good. I never finished it though.

I like Starscream's Animated design better than the TFP design actually.

I posted a bit prematurely for Nightbird as I was in a bit of a rush and should have waited til I had time to sit and think as now that I have done that... I wasn't quite finished with the post, thete's a litthe bit of something more for it to be within her character.
So Nightbird's post is down and being edited so I can add to it.

You're get the hang of it. 95% of my posts are through using my phone. Nice thing is if you wrote in whatever sort of notepad your phone comes with, you can practically write a post anywhere at anytime. I've spent a few lunch breaks at work writing some posts. It's nice, but I wouldn't recommend it over a laptop unless, like it in your case it seems, it's a last resort.

Same, though I don't usually post with my phone, I use my Ipad most of the time. I gotta prefer using a computer to post though, autocorrect and everything is really touchy with Transformers.
