I'm not totally sure why the mods say we need a sample post for each character but I can think of one reason. As with any story, certain characters act one way while others act differently. I would be very uneasy to approve someone who plays Streetwise or Groove and then applies for a Dinobot like Grimlock without a sample for the Dinobot. A passive Dinobot would not ever make sense while an overaggressive Streetwise or Groove would not make sense either since both aren't overly fond of the war. Ratchet and First Aid are both medics but First Aid definitely won't fight while Ratchet will if he has to defend himself or is one of the last functioning Autobots. The basic idea for a sample post is to let the mods know how well you understand the character.

If\Once Air Raid is approved WITH sample post, you will be posting with me quite a bit since I have Silverbolt.

Hey guys, I apologize for my lack of activity, but my newborn is really taking me away from my hobbies now that he is finally here. If there is need be to remove me from the RP then I have no objection, however if those of you who are currently role playing with me character Ricochet want to just NPC him for a while until I can get back into the mix. Now just isn't the best time with the new addition to my family.

Usually it is up to the individual to read the previous threads or at least the last page or two to get an idea. For the Aerialbots, read the Autobot frigate thread to get an idea of what is going on. You don't have to read every single thread and post unless you want to.

Dynamax's absence has continued long enough without effort made to reclaim his characters, thus his canon characters are open to be applied for.

These now free characters include for example:

• Dead End
• Highbrow
• Horri-Bull

I have just gotten my first character approved for the Ultrax and I'm ready to do some RP. I would, however, like some help with my first and introductory post. Because my character has no previous history in the plot of these RPs I'd like to get an understand of where my character comes in and a little rundown on the situation. I've read some, but there is a lot to read and I was hoping for a synopsis.

This is also my first text-based RP, only having experience with MMO RP and Table-tops. However, once I get started I think I can roll with it easily enough.

On Cybertron, the war is at a standstill, no one is firing a shot on the dead world, the Evil Decepticon General Shockwave is planning to have a cease-fire on Cybertron to rebuild what has been destroyed, the Predicons and Combaticons rebelled while thinking that Shockwave would destroy the Decepticons by calling cease-fire. The Autobots led by Kup are now trying to find logic in Shockwave's plan, and the Autobots receive shocking news from Earth. Shockwave also received word from Earth and he is moving all remaining Decepticons to Earth.

On Earth things are hectic at best, Hot Spot and his team were simply scouting when they ran into the Stunticons, a Maniacal Stunt Team bent on destruction, and a fight ensued, leaving both sides in shambles. And things heated up to a melting point when in the attempted escape of the Stunticons to Mt. St. Helens Volcano, doubling as the Decepticons base on Earth, leads to the Autobots being caught in their Orbital Bounce, sending both factions into the Decepticons base, and the Autobots hope begins to die off when the entire base takes notice of the battle and joins in! The Autobots find out by this and Optimus Prime leads a team into the Decepticons Base, and they get Hot Spot out, but the Volcano begins to rumble, the battle had woken up the volcano! Only Optimus Prime and Megatron are inside, locked in a fierce battle, suddenly, Megatron initiates the Self-Destruct of the base and the countdown starts. But then, both sides cannot get their leaders out because they are too far into the Decepticon base, and it explodes in a cataclysmic explosion, (Shocking News -->) and both leaders are presumed dead. Prowl assumes leadership position and Starscream assumes leadership position over the Decepticons and a new base is ordered into production. But the Seekers are attacking the Ark-19! A large crack in the submerged ship leads to a hull breach, sending all Autobots up to the Autobot Frigate Guardian and the Decepticons to the Decepticon Frigate Ultrax. Prowl sends the news to Kup on Cybertron and Soundwave sends a signal behind Starcream's back to Shockwave on Cybertron. In an effort to make a distraction, the Stunticons and Skywarp led teams to different spots on the globe, destroying everything in sight.

And there, is where your story begins...

A bit much to read, but this is much better than reading a snot load of pages to catch up!

Thank you for that, but now that I'm up to speed I need help with my debut. I don't want to feel like I'm shoehorning my character in or interrupt any goings on. Also, I'm unsure of my means of arrival as I am to assume I've had no participation up 'till now and just need to know how I'll go about arriving to the Ultrax.

Hey, it doesn't matter what when where and how your character got there, all you need to do is pick where you want to go and what you want to do and do it. This is for fun! You wouldn't be disrupting a thing!

I'm a Bot only player so far so no clue what is happening on the Con ship but it probably be ok for your character to come out of his room somewhere. It would also be wise to PM some of the Con players on the ship to help get some behind the scenes establishment.

I've been approved to play Huffer in the Earth RP, but I'm not sure where to start posting! Do I need to start in the training facility, Ark-19 or just wherever? I'm eager to get involved but I really don't wanna turn up somewhere I'm unwelcome and spoil people's good time...

Unless the mods say otherwise you should start on the Guardian. And really, just go anywhere. Run into someone in the corridor, meet the guys in the practic range, go to the bridge, come out of one of the CR chambers, start however you want. As long as you don't break any rules you won't be ruining anyone's good time.

Sorry for being such a n00b, but I'm still a little confused. Is the Guardian in orbit? I'm trying to figure out which thread to start posting in, since there don't seem to be any that are set on the Guardian. Or should I just start posting in any of the threads that are currently open?
