Agreed! My mistake was I'd assumed that the code was merely to switch Maximal protoforms into Predacons. I didn't think about it actually chronally displacing the pods as well.

But I thought Mag was gonna send Megs to Cybertron but they put the device on Mag to send him back instead...

I dont think they explained it in ether "The Gathering" or "The Ascending" yet but the idea is that somthing happened to Magmatron's chrono-wristband durring his fight with Razor Beast that left him trapped in a temporal limbo....seeing the birth and destruction of Cybertron again and again.
