Do you think thered be a market for him?
Yeah, maybe. I don't know. I've actually done a lot more work on him, but I don't have the use of my camera at the moment, so you'll have to take my word for it.
The head absolutely is on with a screw. You just have to dismantle his chest to get to it.
One more tease- SOUNDWAVE. That's all I'm sayin'. You'll see him when I get the camera back in a few days.

Heads up to everyone who likes this Ironhide! He's up on ebay NOW!
http://cgi.ebay.com/Custom-Ironhide-Tra ... dZViewItem
Check him out! I cleaned him up slightly, so go and check it out for the new pics, if nothing else!
For those of you who don't like the head- go bid on something of Jin's! (If you can afford it!)
By the way, I also go by KindlerCo Labs!

The face is made from a wood repair epoxy putty called Quik Wood. I get mine at HOME DEPOT. I shaved the face down flat and shaped the putty over it. The eyes are the original surface.
The cogs, like the rest of his truck surface is done with spray paint. I laid little pieces of masking tape lightly over them, so that they would be only be hit from the sides and not get too clogged. As for how it's still on there, mostly luck.

Yep. Of all of the putties that I've used it has the best. It's easy to sculpt, stays soft for twenty minutes (give or take) and is easy to carve and sand when set. Jin swears by Apoxie Sculpt. I trust his judgment, but I haven't used it yet, so I can't tell you. I can tell you that it's name isn't nearly as funny.

I get mine in the pluming isle of HOME DEPOT. It costs less than three bucks for a stick that lasts me about a month. "Fast Steel" is good when you need a tough, thin piece like a sword, but "Quik Plastic" is useless for anything other than actually fixing a pipe or a hot tub.
By the way, I've already got a bid on Ironhide, and it hasn't even been 24 hours! Wooo!
Now lets see if I get any more...
