A few years ago I had an idea for some new transformers characters. I loved the 80's, especially the iconic super vehicles of that era. So I worked up some drawings of the characters. More recently, I started looking over some of my extra bots and parts and began to consider repaints and mods to make these characters into toys.

Perhaps, for the General, I'd use energon Downshift. Its been done before, but it works quite well.

I'm thinking of modding an energon Rodimus into a helicopter for this one.

This one will be tough. I want the cannons to be on the thighs like gun holsters, I want the helicopter to be as spot on as possible, and I want the bot mode to have a feminine look.

I considered classics prowl, I don't know though.
I have yet to load up pics of the Knightrider, Fabricator (the A-team van), and Doubletake (truck/helicopter from the Highwayman)that I had drawn.
Having a spare Barricade caused the train of thought. He could be the new KITT. Although I'd still want the firebird version. I'm thinking of towline for the A-team van. And, Armada Prime with a cybertron Evac heavily modded to be the truck from the Highwayman.
The possibilities explode from there. A whole different version of a crossover line.
Streethawk, Viper, Apollo and Starbuck from Battlestar Galactica (as colonial vipers) and Cylons, etc.
Tell me what you think. Any ideas? Share thoughts, ideas, art. I think this would be a cool take on our hobby.
