Oh, that axe. But that's not for City Commander, is it?

The God Sword ... it looks cool with Classics Prime / Magnus alone. $70 cool? (which seems to be the price it startedat) I don't know, but decently cool. But all City Commander can do with it is hold it in it's combined form. So it looks more like a Classics Prime accessory that CC can hold than an accessory made for CC.

But that's just how I see it.

Is it worth $70 to you? I mean for $70 you can buy most of Warbot Defender or one of the Crossfire kits. The God Sword looks nice, but it just doesn't seem worth it.

Edit: Although, even if I say that, just looking at pictures of it makes me want it. lol.

It does look nice, but I'm not sure if $70 nice. The axe, I'll definitely get. There are numerous display poses where I can make the Axe work. As for Swords, I'm going to keep looking around.

I had briefly been excited about being able to get City Commander, until I saw that it was $40 more expensive than when it was on BBTS last. :-(

Oh well. Maybe if we're lucky, Hasbro will make some kind of Ultra Magnus figure that I'll be able to use in my collection...

Saw on BBTS and preordered Shadow Commander. Pretty much the last FP set I wanted but didn't have. Come to Papa!

If Hasbro does make an Ultra Magnus figure, it's likely to be just a repaint of an existing figure. I don't think you'd want that, would you?

How long before the prices get jacked up to the $249 to $299 level again? I'm good with my D.I.A. Commander. Just need more weapons. PE products will take care of most of

that.

If I didn't already have the D.I.A. Commander, I'd surely get the Shadow Commander.

In defense of the whiney kids, the last run, which also INCLUDED TFX-03 CITY COMMANDER UPGRADE SET!!!, cost $85.

Because city commander pays homage to Ultra Magnus known by all G1 fans. Shadow commander just looks cool, but pays homage to no paticular character in TF history. Alot of non-comic book readers arent really big fans of Nemesis Prime or Shattered Glass stories. It's just bait to sell repaints.

I paid $119 plus shipping at Robotkingdom last year for my City Commander. I also got the KO DIA commander since the price was right at 80 bucks including a KO blue Optimus. You can use small bits of cardboard to tighten the loose shoulder armor people were complaining about.

I'd say you should still be excited, even at the marked up price. It adds a lot of aesthetic/nostalgic value to the figure, and completes out a fan's TF:TM set of Autobots.

As I've posted elsewheres (and others have said as much as well), it beats the scalper prices. I'd be surprised if the preorders make it out through the week, but I don't know how many are actually being produced.

glad i waited on shadow the misses just preordered that and the insecticons for my birthday :KREMZEEK:

also if anyone is thinking about the g3 trailer just get it you will not be dissapointed for me at least it is easily the best prime trailer ive ever seen.if you have any version of prime get him while you can.

on a side note could this rerelease be due to needing funds for their upcoming projects? just a thought.

the one day i dont be on the internet and two toys that i couldnt afford cause i didnt have a job at the time magically appear for preorders today and I miss out on it....

Now i got to go sumwhere kicking ppl car doors in as I cry myself to sleep now :sad:

I really hope so....like i said...i mix out on these two when i wasnt working and since i finally find a decent job...i felt like i was playing catch up on everything I miss but today was a low blow when i saw these two was back on pre order but i was to busy at work...and no i to tired to kick in doors tonite anyway. Might shake one or two to set a alarm off or sumthing ....

TFSource is charging $249.95 but is instock. Not for me. Bought on BBTS.
