Bored at work..

I was looking at Optimus and thought he needed a few touch-ups as far as paint apps (which is the least of it's problems).

These are the touch-ups I accomplished:
- silver smoke stacks
- silver shoulder trim
- silver upper leg trim
- silver kneepads

SILVER!! SILVER!! SILVER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I totally forgot to paint the yellow of his helmet silver.

SILVER!!!!!

I did the same with mine I also added silver to replace the yellow on his helmet and the front grill is also silver.

Dont for get the Sigil on his shoulder.

I pulled the "Action Tab" and all the gears out, and superglued the mid torso to the top torso. Yay! No more stupid punching gimmick!!

All the sexy paint apps in the world couldn't save that fig, I'm afraid; I've passed on picking up that two-pack several times. I don't hate the robot mode so much (except for the goggles, of course)... but the truck mode is horrendous. It looks like... a folded-up robot.

I honestly only bought it because I'm obsessed with all things Optimus, and there's no way in hell I can pass him up as a red-gray-blue Semi-Truck cab - no matter how ishishy it looks.

I do not blame you..

There is a mod out there that fixes the legs so that it telescopes.
I just can't find it..?

Same here. We did get a nice Megatron as well - although the figure could use some elbows..

I plan on doing the same. Truck mode is useless. I got this Prime for his G1 looks. I plan on keeping the 'action tab' 'cause It holds his gun when not holding it with his 'hand'. Needed to cut down 1 mm of that black plastic to be able to attach the gun to it.
