Man oh man, I am itching for a Leader Class Prime. I'm still waiting for more details on the Buster Prime before pulling the trigger on getting one. I prefer the faceplate, but I also like the guns, so it's going to be a tough decision.

I have a question though, for fellow Seibertronians, for the Premium Chromed figures, do you find that the paint chips off easily during transformations? For the time being, I actually prefer the regular version. Like, in the 2007 Prime, the feet which are the grills are chromed, and I heard they chip off, especially since in robot mode they would be touching the ground... was that the issue with other premium figures too?

I'm thinking, if Buster Prime is chromed, then I might just get the regular Prime. What do you guys think?

Only the Japanese Premium Optimus Prime was chromed, you're safe with the US release. Japan only got Premium Optimus Prime and Bumblebee anyway. Besides, Premium figures only feature metallic finishes and more "movie-accurate" decos, not chrome.

Awesome, thank you so much! I didn't know that. Mmm, perhaps I'll wait and see what other versions of Leader Class Optimus Prime is available before I make my final decision... although the one that's already out there is really tempting!
