Cloud wins. He could win without any materia equiped. (wich would actualy make him physicaly stronger by the way)

When I think about it... Squall has devastating Limits too. Plus his jonction system allow him to become much much stronger. On the other hand Cloud had some exposure to Mako. I don't know anymore...

But when I think about it: could Squall beat Sephiroth? Cloud did.

Cloud wins again.

I choose Squall, becuase FF VIII was my favorite FF game and I think Clouds' overrated.

I say they'll just Emo each other to death. And if they both survive that onslaught of suck they'll go on to not score with the obvious hot chick who wants them. (Tifa and Quistas). In the end they both suck in a way. So I'll say the win goes to Vincent.

Squall scores with Rinoa, who is as hot, if not hotter then Quistis.

I say Cloud wins, unless they do a compilation for FF8, and give Squall as many bitchin' fight scenes as Cloud.

If your talking about Cloud and Squall from their respective games id probably have to give it to Squall! I just think the junction and drawing systems would just tip the balance.
If you add Advent Children into the mix, Cloud would murder Squall.
Mainly because if Cloud lost Square-Enix couldnt carry on milking V11 and all the kids would cry!

I never liked Rinoa much. Quistas was way hotter. And it was obvious she brought Squall to the Make out point to bang him. And the feckin' putz turned her down. Am I the only one with half a MB worth of hent...errrr "anime" of her? And Cloud smiling once doesn't mean he's beaten the Emo title. No. He still didn't so much as try to make a move on Tifa. It's glaringly obvious she wants him too.

So what it comes down to for me is who was less lame. Cloud's a whiny Emo bitch for most of his appearences in the games he's been in. Squall was too but his weapon of choice is a full sized broadsword with a gun grafted on. In real life they'd be awkward as hell and a bitch to use. Plus the only time he was cool was in the Kingdom Hearts games. Which is more of a strike against him then for him. I stand by my previous claim that Vincent wins.

Cloud, unless he's all depressed that Aeris died.
