You know I like to build stuff too. look closer at what's on my monitor in that Max shot.
I spy with my little eye something that looks like a fancy building in drawing/designing software, though it doesn't look to be the AutoCAD that I use
Cinema 4D. Geared more for animation, but great for modeling too. I'm building a fleet of robo drone ships, but that's all I can say for now.

I almost feel like you are trying to design a building to go with the drone ships to recreate some sort of scene from something that I do not know what yet

As long as the arm are straight up, I would think loadbearing shouldn't be too much of an issue

Hi Robuddies!

Not much going on here in terms of robots. I have some other things cooking at the moment, and honestly a little break from TFs is OK. Y'all know how interests, priorities, and thangs can wax and wane.

Thanks to Will I'm ahead of the game on TR which is really all I'm diehard after these days. Still waiting to find Shuffler and Repugnus to finish out wave 4. Oh, and Brawn and Redbee McFlip-a-doo. They're wave 4, right?

I HAVE been doing some serious playing with some RID Canadianizer Minicons! Just haven't had much time for a photo spread. It will come though for sure. Best wave of Minicons they've made. Hands down.

Movie hypemania is upon us, and even the strongest of willed can sometimes be pulled down into the whirlpool of a PR Blitz. In an effort to stave off any unnecessary Movie wants, I have been pulling down older Movie toys off the shelves, and out of storage. It's helped. The ones I love remind me that, for me, they are good enough, and the ones I don't love remind me why, as a whole the Movie bots just aren't my bag.

Cary whipped out his EMOP at the office the other day which gave me the need to do the same.

Although I hate that face and the elbows, EMOP is a really good toy. Great transformation and a good action figure in bot mode.
Galvy is a whole 'nother story. I think his shellformation is just hilarious, and although I usually despise the over detailing on the movie designs, I love the sculpt and detailing on the figure.
He does not exist in my Transformers world. He has been seen as a new growing threat in the Microverse. An Alien robot marauder, hell bent on domination over the Microverse. He has aligned himself with the Acroyer and Baron Karza in an effort to rid Microspace of those do-gooding Micromen and Nauts!

Next up I felt like I needed a little QT with my ol' pal '07 Leader Prime.

In an strange but wonderful coincidence, while I was playing with him I was watching a Thewview, about a totally random Movie toy, and in a more negative comment, he summed up everything that I find to be a positive about this toy.

His comment at 7:26 to 7:30

P.S. I kind of have the same love/hate relationship with Stratosphere as Thew.

'07 Leader is totally a design conundrum that results in what I see as a win. Imagine you are a TF designer and you have been plugging away at hitting home run after home run with Cybertron, and all the sudden, down from upstairs comes these hideously nightmarish McFarlaned designs that don't even really transform. What do you do?
'07 is this weird hard gear shift in design philosophy frozen in it's midpoint, forever, in this toy. It maintains the quality in construction, joints, and plastic that made Cybertron great, and it also simplifies the freakish design so that it can actually function in toy form. He feels so solid in hand you could smash a car windshield with him, and not scratch the bot. He has a really middle/easy transformation that doesn't take all day and is fun to do. Plus his automorph TFing bits are entertaining.
Bee and Ratchet, while having their merits fall more into the category of, "aren't my bag".

TLK Barricade and Voyager Prime have caught my eye, and Leader Megatron is a very strong possibility. I'm only buying Baricade if I can find him Walmart cheap or better, and Prime, like shajaki said maybe at Densh's house, I will wait to see if a better repaint comes along. Although I'd really rather have Takara's Armored Black Knight. (F you The Jungle for screwing me out of that one last year! [-(

So ya! I'm just following my Mom's age old advise of, "Play with the toys you have", and biding my time til some more TR hits. Oh, and a few RID too that still haven't shown up here. I'm also enjoying the respit from the all consuming hunt, and using the time to catch up on some unfinished projects and gain ground on some new ones.

Oh, also, I may or may not have just dipped my finger in the KO frosting. :-$
