Did you guys ever see the post in the CW thread with an all Rook combiner who also had Rook skates?

I did see the rook skates. And yeah, SAL can be 29 days. At that point, I dont mind just going by registered boat for Bruticus.

I never saw the Rook skates, but I've been avoiding the CW thread for weeks. That and the titan returns thread. Just to much flamey BS over there for my tastes.

Thre isnt that much. Dont let a few bad grapes sour your wine. Its just tha since toy fair and the rumours we posted, we are in a bit of a lull and people dont really know what to talk about. Though I do like the point I recently brought up. I actually realized that I actually mind less when parts are reused and we have a new transformation (like the CW figures or Blurr/Chromedome) than when there are only new parts but it repeats note for note the transformation of a figure. That's why I preferred my first experience with Gen Skybyte over my first time transforming MP10. One toy is obviously better than the other, but Skybyte was a real mystery in terms of tarnsformation compared to MP10 which was a redux of MP01 which I had already played with quite a bit.

Speaking of gems, Cobo, did you see what I found at the thrift store. I mean, holly hell, how freaken lucky is it to find a G1 triggercon!!!!!!!

I'm so far behind on the CW thread I just can't commit my brain to read that much. When I go back to threads that move that fast I skim for pics or users I like to catch the highlights. Fortunately the TR thread is pretty slow lately.

I know I'm missing a lot, I just can't keep up with my schedule. What can you do? I pop into the collection threads to keep up with my robros.

I did just hit the bingo thread...

The bingo thread was frustrating yesterday if not entertaining. I can sum it up with this...



As your local neighborhood mod, I can say those threads have been pretty calm. They do move fast. I have to keep an eye on them as they are the most likely place for "bad behavior". Will is the one stirring up the most **** in there lately! He took SabreB to the MAT!!!

I still try to post pics and fun in the CW thread. A magazine with no pictures is just a text book. I still get more reaction and convo outa you guys, from the same shots though.

I didnt know what it was either. But I can recognize a G1 toy (the decepticon sickers helped). I figured out later what it was and it turns out both you and I got aquainted with the character lately but disregarded him. They have popped back up in the culture lately since both Hero X (the Takare version fo the Club) and the Club have been using CW molds to update these toys.

I will say this again, these are without a doubt, the BEST things to find in the wild. Their accessories stay on them as part of the gimmick. Them not needing accessories means that you can find them "complete" at totally random places where you would also find random G1 toys that have no accessories left (like a seeker body). And these have never been reissued and there dont seem to be any signs they will.

That transformation had the potential to be annoying as hell, but it's not. It's SOOOOO FUN!
Robot mode looks and works great. HE is so much taller than I thought.
I haven't had a ton of time to really get to know him, but we are becoming fast friends.

I did of course have time to try this.

Now I'm even more excited to get Ratchet so one of them can stay in OG mode and the other can rock the intentional mode.

I dont thik I will get two of this mold. If I do get one, it would b ratchet, I really preffer his groin area. And plus, he's the one I have in my small G1 collection.

I am more excited for Ratchet! I have always like him better than IH. Not even sure why. Just do.

It`s not a penis joke, Transformers dont have penises. A lot of people had problems with the "diaper" on Ironhide but I say it like it is, its his groin. Right? And his groin is not to my liking, its odd and only works in the cartoon, if that. Ratchet's groin is much better. Too bad he still has the wheel cheeks.

By the way, have you guys heard that they want to make bigger prisons? They are calling this endeavour Penal Enlargements.

Will, I do agree that Ratchet's looks better. It has everything to do with the color layout. Since his undies are a darker color than his thighs, and chest for that matter, it reads as less obvious. Ironhides is accented because it's a lighter color on a darker field (back ground).

Let me help though, and I'm always very careful when talking about this region on the boards. The word groin specifically refers to the genitals and the area underneath them. The word pelvis is a much more encompassing term, as it includes the waist and hips as well.

And yeah, Pelvic area makes way more sense, I will use that next time.

Its not jus the colour layout though. The pelvic area on Irihide has that diamond shape making it look large. On Ratchet, it is these vertical lines. That makes a pretty big difference too.
