I'm no scientist and am just repeating what I've read and heard, for whatever it's worth.

Space is indeed really freakin cold. However, the shuttle and space station have to be insulated against the extreme heat of the sun, too. The way I understand it, without the buffer of the atmosphere, anything the sun's rays touch gets very hot. I wonder if this would've made any difference in interstellar space-travel, though, because in the deep reaches, there are no nearby stars.

Personally, I'd have to go with the "rapid temperature change" theory of why Megs got trapped, but that doesn't explain how they subdued Bumblebee with fog machines... er, I mean, extremely high-tech cooling thingies. So all in all, I'm voting for "plot-hole."

English isn't everyone's native language. I don't know if that's the case with the poster who started this thread but it's worth keeping in mind. Dysfluency does not necessarily equal stupidity, and the ability to type does not rule out learning disabilities.

I didn't have trouble understanding the post. Mostly I kicked myself for not thinking of the cold of space thing myself.

And? Deadpool's comments are only annoying you, and maybe one or two others. As I said, if she has a learning disability, fine, that's our bad. But if she's just some random weirdo spamming up the board, then it's a problem, isn't it?

Getting back to the topic, with this whole cold thing "plot hole" sums it up pretty well. Even though it's so wide you could drive a peterbuilt truck through it I'm guessing that the writers were just to lazy to think of a way to fill it.

The ships have to be isolated against cold and hot, lets take the moon for an example, if you're in it's shadow you'll frez to death, but if you go towards the sun you'll burn.

But if you have a suit that is made to shild you from both hot and cold you're fine.

Oh and if you guys watch the move the next time, look at the cean were the Autobots enter earth, as they enter earth atmosphere, bit and stuff brake of them and burn in the process, that's ice, they are frozen wile they travel space, leaving only the jets and stuff to move them true space ice free, just like asteroids.

Oh and could you please stop flaming BQ?
In every thread She/He opens there's a constant personal attack going on against the poster.
BQ may not respond cos the goes after the old German saing "The clever one lets it pass!" So by constntly attacking BQ with questioning him/her cos there is no resistence and counter attacks coming from, just shows who's more intelligent.

As it's been said before, English isn't everybody's main language, BQ could be a Math teacher, but no ace at English Grammar.

Who knows how different here language and Grammar is from English?

I know that each language's grammar differs,Spanish, English and German have big and small differences in Grammar.

Just my two cents.

Keep on with their english lessons until they finish and know how to speak it. You aint gonna learn english from a forum.

The best way to improve language skills is to use the new language in a real-world setting with native speakers. It's recommended by every language school and method. Any language teacher or student knows that classroom teaching is only the first step. The most important part is real-world usage.

This could've been an interesting topic but it's been derailed by people picking apart grammar and arguing. It's a shame.

I'm not looking to get involved with any argument, but I guess I'm gonna.

Burn and I have had some differences, but I'm siding with him here. This is an open forum site, any body can ask anything. If you don't like a topic or question, just skip over it. Tearing someone down cause you don't like their question or comments sayes alot more about YOU than it does about them.

I got no problem with anyone, and aint looking for one, but hounding someone is pointless, and belittling them is pathetic.

I personaly think this is a valid question and figure the protoform design acts as an insulation. Maybe I'm wrong, but screw it, it works for me :-?

Babylon Queen strikes me as just another of the rapid influx of children to this site since the movie came out.

Parents make an account for their youngsters as a sort of fun thing for them to do on the computer for an hour or so, since they liked the movie.

The parents don't understand how message boards work and therefore they're letting a little kid into a room filled with older people.

Of course, in real life people would be nice to the kid. But on here, with just words on the screen and only enough information as the person chooses to give, we're all equal. Thus anybody who either doesn't speak much English or just learned to read and write, seems like an idiot.

Her posts are annoying, but not as lame as some other people on here.

The ironic thing is, children shouldn't be on this site. Yes it's Transformers, so it's pretty lame to say that, but it's true because they don't fit in at all in our environment.

No difference. A kid on the site is a kid on the site, whether she got on because of the new movie or one of the TV series.

Based on your posts, Sonray, you haven't earned mine. Giving respect should be the default response to any post IMO. BQ's taking the high road by not replying, and I'm off to find a more interesting discussion.

Do i care? No.
Thats because im not trying to earn anyones respect, when i do i'll let you know, right now there are many other more important things i need then the respect from someone i don't even know on a message board. That and i don't really care period, since life is too short and what you see is what you get with me, so take it or leave it. If you dont like it then its not my problem. I havnt got time to put on a show or be politically correct for everyone to "enjoy" or be pleasant to. Im simply not that kind of person as i havnt led that sort of life. Not everyone is the same, remember that. Treat others how they treat you first is what i go by.

I say respect should and needs to be earned, handing it out willy nilly is stupid and defeats the whole purpose of respect.
