Unsold on this. Feels a bit detail-less to be a CHUGs fig.
Aren't you in danger of getting kicked off the Twincast podcast for that?
Did I get the acronym wrong? I rarely use it. Classics, Henkei, Universe, Generations...it seems okay...
Must just be my opinion then. In that case, I'm in no danger.
They might be referring to the fact that the term "chug" is a highly derogatory term for Native Americans and First Nations people.

This Megatron is probably one head taller than Classic Prime.
Trikeboy wrote:Thank you so much for that. Being Scottish, I had no idea why Americans were complaining about CHUG as an acronym. Now I know, and knowing is half the battle. Kind of like Slag and Spastic in the UK, both of which I'm ok calling my Transformers.

I've never heard of that...I just know a lot of people hate the term. Whether it's actually for that reason, I dunno. Might just be because it sounds ridiculous, too...I dunno.

The transparent sections don't really bother me, but maybe they just got the coloring for the plastic off on the prototype? If it were a really dark red it could work really well I think. Overall he is really well proportioned and the face is perfect.

I just think CHUG sounds stupid but I'm willing to accept the slur reason just to make it go away.If it goes with the Classics series or the Wings of Deception set, it'll always be Classics to me!
Requiem Prime wrote:I like using Classic-verse. I don't know about others, but I don't treat it as a reference to just the Classics or Universe lines. The whole point of all these lines is the modern treatment of "classic" characters.

I don't think the concern is so much how it looks, but rather just the fact the joint is made out of clear plastic as it tends to be more weak and fragile.

DJrasmo wrote:A depiction of Megs being shorter than this would actually leave me disappointed, as that would make Megs on scale with most other Decepticons and wouldnt make him seem very "leader-like" when standing among, say, the Hercules constructicons or a size-acurate Soundwave (whose toy was always toweringly tall).
