Dammit, now I want trailbreaker done up like cannonball (with those sexy teal skeletons) with a hook, a knife, and a clamp accessory
Well, spray cans are relatively cheap and easy to use, and damn near impossible to screw up, unless you sneeze or literally go out of your way to ruin the paint job.
As for drawing, I'm pretty handy with dry medium (pastels, graphic markers and pencils), but I'm also trying out Photoshop recently. Thing is, I have the attention span of a goldfish when it comes to finishing fan art. I'd doodle something up halfway and get totally distracted with another idea, and the cycle repeats itself.![]()
Yeah, CW Ironhide would make a cool Cannonball custom. Either way, it's just a matter of time before a customizer makes one.

And what's wrong with that? Sexy fembots is a staple of the nerd fandom, you know. Since WAAAAAAAYYYYYYY back.
Nemesis Primal wrote:As far as molds go, I think the jet torso might have been a better idea, simply because having a female combiner whose sixth member forms the chestplate just seems to invite certain jokes that I'd rather not be the one to make.

Actually the Hot Spot mold is quite a brilliant choice. What with the groove mold which brings the presence of (although unpainted, maybe something for some depraved customizer) nipple pasties.

The leader will be intelligent and studious.
One of the fliers will be competitive and daring.
The other flier with be shy and kind-hearted.
One of the cars will be a hardworker and old-fashioned.
The fifth will be stylish and helpful.
And the sixth will be energetic and crazy.
And I'd be perfectly fine with it.

My thoughts on Victorion and her components:
There needs to be a third color breaking it all up. That's the big thing. The red and cyan everywhere are overwhelming.
I like what was done with the individual robots to retool them and make them more feminine. The new heads are cool, and I think it's neat that Stormclash and Skyburst have mirrored paint jobs. I seem to be in the minority for noticing that they do, though, because even in the official stock photos, their alt modes are reversed.
(look at the ankles and the corresponding robot parts if you don't see what I mean)
It might have benefitted Hasbro to make them a LITTLE more distinct from each other, while still keeping them twins. Anyway. Their retooled forearms are a good touch as well. Jumpstream and Dustup look decent but I don't think they look as good as the other three. Rust Dust is okay. I wonder what her omission from the art we've seen means. The comics haven't done a good job showcasing the sixth bots thus far, but there are pics of her with the others in individual modes. Maybe they'll draw her onto the combined mode before the comic is released or something.
Do I wish Hasbro had done a little more to make these robots seem female and different from previous uses of the mold? Kind of yes, but I don't see them as not being female just because they don't have supermodel proportions. I will definitely pick Victorion up when she's released.Sabrblade wrote:Six females...

I see what you did there.

The concept of female Transformers isn't the problem. The problem lies with the small group of individuals who believe females to be thin with boobs.
Completely disregarding all the other female shapes which you did a great job of pointing out.

And what do you define as "look female"?
