Cobotron wrote:Dust Up's head sculpt is really cool and cute. The final color layouts are so much better than that slopped on sample we saw so long ago.
My interest has gone from .5 to 5.75 in this whole package. Just have to see how the year plays out.

Thanks! Can't believe I didn't make that connection.Hellscream9999 wrote:Randomus wrote:I assume there is, but can anyone confirm that there is some way (sliding head piece, flip-up panel, etc.) that prevents the fire truck from having an exposed giant face looking backward down the ladder?
Yup, you turn her head 180 degrees and the little, new flaps sticking up next to her head in combined mode will tab together in front of her face, hiding it (just not the rest of her head)

Well, she's apparently due at online retail next month, so... good luck with that

steals_your_goats wrote:I still think I'm on the buy side on this one. She looks pretty good in hand and I like the little touches of Cybertronian writing on them. I wish there was at least one more color just to break everything up but I'll live.

Hellscream9999 wrote:D-Maximus_Primal wrote:I'm digging her and cannot wait to get her. And where did you get the $120 price point? I had seen $100 when she was announced, and considering that is what the G2 sets were going for, it makes sense that is her price too.
I said tax + shipping, it'll definitely add another $20 onto the $100 pricetag; I won't justify that for her
So what abilities do the cars grant? Oh, the ability to stand or hold things, of course!D-Maximus_Primal wrote:And she technically has 2 official combinations: the helicopters as arms grants her her gravity control powers, while the copters as legs give her the ability to fly
Burn wrote:Agamemnon wrote:Let's get back to talking about Burn's mammoth snout flopping...
Well I am Australian. It's kinda what we're known for.

Bounti76 wrote:And yet again, Rust Dust is on upside down. She should be attached with the motorcycle wheel pointing down.
Is that due to difference in molding between Hotspot and the Voyager figure in this set?D-Maximus_Primal wrote:Bounti76 wrote:And yet again, Rust Dust is on upside down. She should be attached with the motorcycle wheel pointing down.
Actually, this is correct. The way the arms of Rust Dust attach to the chestplate means this is the official transformation. If she were on with the wheel facing down, she would only hold on by a single peg rather than 3 and she would rotate freely.

This is a clear example of why toy design should be left to the professionals and not to the fans.
I'm sorry, but this turned out to be a complete waste of a great opportunity.

The most of Victorion's design that was chosen by fans were the molds, the gender, and the colors. How those were implemented was all Hasbro. All professional. Point your blame the right way.

Actually, I never voted, were we allowed to choose the molds, or just whether they were air or land based? Most of the things we got to choose were fiction related actually, right?

Accidentally.
Amelie wrote:I don't like the muted green. I think it looks ugly and discordant with the bright red.
I preferred the very bright red\green we had before on the prototypes.

Yes. You shouldn't pollute your mind with toxic waste such as GoBots.Sabrblade wrote:Is it wrong that when John said "They're like renegades," my first thought was of the Renegade GoBot faction?
...why? Every fan vote Hasbro's done for Transformers, people cry rigged, but there's never a shred of evidence, or even a decent bit of logic supporting the hypothesis.Rodimus Prime wrote:Yes.
