This is great news if it's true.

Takara likes to keep things underwrap for as long as possible. In addition, the Transformers Movie has overshadowed many of the other lines; so it makes sense that information is just coming out now for a New Year's release.

I'm probably one of the few people who's actually not that excited about this reissue. There are just so many G1 Transformers I'd rather see than this one.

I have a original Sky Lynx which is in pretty good condition, but it would be nice to have a second. I have always really liked this figure a lot. I hope this is true.

I hope this is true. I've always wanted Sky Lynx, but could never shell out the money for a G1 Sky Lynx. If this is true, maybe we'll be getting some of the other molds we didn't expect to get. Woohoo!! Sky Lynx! (I hope)

I hate to be a wet blanket but I can't get excited for this, I've always disliked Skylynx - Both the character & toy... but it's still great he might be coming back for the fans.

Fingers crossed for an Omega Supreme next time round :-(

I picked up a Skylynx a year or two ago, so not a big deal to me, but good for everyone else who wants one.

The question will be when I see it sitting in the store if I'll pick one up anyway... Sometimes I have trouble resisting the new stuff, even though I already have it. Well, I don't have a box for it... Ahhhhh, it's a disease...

BTW, the box is all wrote in English... The Predaking reissue had Japanese on the box. Or is it just a stand in box?

I hope this is true. Takara should really start re-issuing the post movie toys. There were some really cool tfs in the later lines.

That's because Sky Lynx was never released in Japan due to being a "foreign mold" (licensing issues) like Jetfire, the Deluxe Autobots and Insecticons, Omega Supreme and Shockwave. Out of the group only Shockwave was released in Japan.

Since he's US-only, it makes sense for reissue to have a US-styled box. Good eye for noticing it though.

As cool as a Sky Linx reissue is/would be, and it would be great, I want to throw my hopes in with the crowd that's talking about it being possibly the door opener for reissues like Omega Supreme and Shockwave.
But hell yes, I'd buy me a Sky Linx, because I too always wanted one, never had one, and will not pay $1,000,000 on eBay for one.

Not one of my favourite characters or toys but its good to see something different from the normal collection that we normally get reissued.

Predaking is from another toy company ,and it got a release a couple years back. Alot of people thought that Predaking would never get one. So all things are possible.

To the guy that says Skylynx might be altered by Hasbro. If he's released here. How? Skylynx doesn't even have missles.

Nope, Predaking is a Hasbro/Takara mold. He was designed by a former Bandai employee though. In fact, Bandai sued them for using "trademark motives" like the lion head on the head.
