couple of Quick Questions

Weapon: Cluster Bombs
Hi and this is my very first post on here. So hello everyone.

First off for me a couple of very quick questions.

I have started collecting Revenge Of The Fallen figures.

My latest purchase was Human Alliance Bumblebee. But I am a bit annoyed. Why are there two versions of this on the market. The one I have has Sam with a white top and brown hair and not the proper black top and black hair...

Why, oh why did they do this?

And why is Barricade part of this range? Shouldn't he be packaged as "Human Defiance"

Also are there any guides anywhere on the net for disassembling the Ultimate Bumblebee figure. Mine can't stand up any more as one of the legs won't lock into place....

So any help would be appreciated..

Welcome to Seibertron, JohnOfTardis67! The reason there are two versions of HA Bumblebee are that they were released in two different toylines. The one with black-shirted Sam was from the ROTF line, and the one with white-shirted Sam is from the Hunt for the Decepticons line. I believe Hasbro changed the Sam figure mainly because the old one was hard to get into and out of the Bumblebee figure in vehicle mode. Barricade is part of the line simply because it would probably be too expensive to make a new form of packaging for one figure, and there wouldn't really be much of a good marketing reason to do so. As for your question about Ultimate Bumblebee, I'm afraid I don't know anything about disassembling him. Hope you have a good time on these forums!

Thanks for the explanation........ Pity the ROTF line isn't widely available here in Australia.... Plus the version with black shirt Sam seems better quality, Nicer more proper yellow colour, neater transformation and all.

I'm waiting for Skids with Mikaela Banes figure....... We do have her avaialble here but not with Skids. I can't find a decent retailer here that has the full range. We do have Shadow Sideswipe with Mikaela Banes...

Sounds like your stores are beyond the ROTF toy line and it might be difficult to find HA Skids at retail at this point. You may want to check online.

er, dude, Mikaela came with Skids in the first wave (Skids/Arcee/Mikaela, Bumblebee/Spike, Sideswipe/Epps), it was readily available at K-Mart. The HA figures were even on special a few months back.

I'll have a look in my K-Mart and see if there's still any there (think there was a few Bumblebee's)

ah well that explains why you would have missed them. But yeah, I found K-Mart to be the better place for HA. Later waves have been released out here apparently but i've yet to see them.

And your name seems so damn familiar.

Welcome to the site! :)

I believe the new repaint HA Sideswipe does come with Mikaela, but I'm not 100% sure.

Both versions of HA Bumblebee should have the same transformation. They are the same mold.

Email them. If they know fans are unhappy with distribution they may start doing something about it.

I've sent Hasbro a few emails but never gotten a reply......

I just watched a youtube of a review of HA bumblebee at a guy called Peaugh or something's site and his version has a nicer yellow colour then the one I have. The ones with the Sam in black look more faithful to the colour scheme then the one I have which has Sam with BROWN hair and a white top.

Other then tha tthe transformation is the same. but the colour doesn't look as nice as the youtube video I saw. That's what made me want to go buy that figure.

Where do you think you've seen my name?

I post on a few forums of different topics... And use a few usernames, some the same.

I've found a 2nd hand Leader Class Brawl..... Is he worth collecting?

Also leader class Starscream. Is he worth collecting? What's the transformation like?

They are both the best leader class toys from the movies along with ROTF Prime. They are very worth collecting, have both of them myself. Starscream's transformation is tons better than both voyagers. It is very satisfying but not overly complex.
