There's people like that in every game...and I love it. Oh, I love it so. I love how they complain when I dominate them, I love how they act as if getting one kill on me makes them superior, and then I love rubbing their faces in the dirt.

Team Fortress 2. I got domination on a kid (Four kills in a row) and just kept on killing. Eventually, instead of finding a new tactics to get revenge (Killing the guy who dominated you) he instead left and rejoined the server, removing the domination, and attempted to taunt that he had somehow bested me by resetting his score.

Actually, yes, age does matter. Mental maturity directly relates to skill. All of the split-second timing in the world won't help you if you can't estimate your targets and yourself accordingly. And using words like "pwned" without being facetious doesn't really scream "Subscription to the New Yorker" to me.

I already don't believe you, you're not doing a good job of supporting your claims.

For starters, I have nothing against girl gamers. Likewise, no, I've never seen these younger gamers finish ahead of me.

The problem with 'young' gamers is that they believe that we actually care what your age is. It doesn't matter. We'll win, we'll lose, and that's due to the capability of the young player, not on how old the person is. Let's cut the crap and cut this discussion now.

I don't think I'm unstoppable. I'm good, don't get me wrong, and 9 times out of 10 I probably sell myself short (I'm still convinced I'm no good at Halo), but I wouldn't say I'm unstoppable. Especially when I start getting frustrated, then it's a slippery slope to ragequit city.

I don't regularly play GTA. And when I do, I rarely get excited about it, unless I'm doing it co-op, in which case it's more about who can get killed in the wackiest way possible. (Fun tip: Exploding hot dog cart)

You know, instead of dribbling **** like a brat with a bad sense of sportsmanship, how about you actually talk about how you played to overcome Shadowman. I'd be interested to hear that, if you were indeed not cheating, whether you executed any actual skill at all. From what you've stated before, you hover around energon cubes with a sniper's weapon; any nitwit can do that effectively.

Fine, you beat me at WfC...sort of. (I'm still not convinced on the whole "not hacking" business but that's a story for another day) In all honesty, I didn't even expect to win. I'm in the middle of a cold and my inability to focus on anything kind of ruined it for me, and I realized it was going to before you joined.

Also, interesting true fact, I hit mute on my TV while we were playing on Streets. Yes, it meant I couldn't hear you coming, but it was worth it because you never stopped talking.

But, more to the point, I don't care, and win or lose, I didn't expect to care. You beat me at a video game...hurrah. The world keeps spinning and in ten minutes I'll forget it ever happened.

To tell the truth, from what I've seen 'younger' players are typically the better combatants. They don't have to work and have much less responsibility, they simply get more time to play and therefore become better in a shorter time.

I've got a kid on my friends list that's 10 or 11 he's ranked 34. I'm ranked 12400... but anytime we play I'm just as good as him, we both are always the MVP's. It's just that he gets to play a lot more than I do.

But he never stops talking... and whatever it is he's talking about is most assuredly bragging, screaming, or trying to impress someone older than he is.
