I can’t stand the Energon series! (Not even when I seriously did try to watch.) I just could not get into it. >”<# and yet I absolutely gravel over the E-Megatron/Galvatron mold. I have 5 different variations of it in fact and would no doubt have even more if they ever were to make more. I heart it of course for the G1 Galvatron homage it’s got going on, but does anyone else happen to have a TF toy like that they love, but hate the show it's from?

Cybertron wasn't THAT bad, but at the end of the day it's story was as dodgy as Armada and Energon. G1 I tolerate these days simply on nostaglic value.
So really, out of all the series there's some pearlers of figures, but really, the cartoons bar BW/BM sucked.
Of course there's some characters like Energon Ironhide who sucked in the cartoon, they sucked in the comic, and their toy just plain sucked beyond all comprehension.

Well, not quite. The comic with the TFCC newsletter is titled Cybertron, but the story is more like a continuation of the Universe comic as it draws in elements from all over the Transformers multiverse.

Are you basing that off of Armada Red Alert or G1 Red Alert?

Armada, seeing as he's the same person.

I'm a G1 moderate. It's behind Armada and Beast Wars for me.

You know what .. I resent that statement. I resent it even more for you attempting to turn the topic in that direction in the first place. I didn’t realize this was some us VS them. I thought we just plan liked Transformers — period.
Next time before you open your mouth maybe you should try just for a second to see it from the vantage point that you want G1 fans to see you on, Okay. Let’s just assume for a moment that there never was an original show. Lets all pretend that Transformers started with hmmm ..eh, I dunno .. with Armada. Alright? (And if you happen to not like Armada then feel free to fill in with whichever one you are closest too.) Now there you are --a whopping biiiiig fan! Watching Armada has made a considerable impact on your childhood. The names of the different characters, their voices, and what they looked like is quite literally BRANDED into your psyche!
20 years pass by. You learn they’re doing a whole brand-new Transformers! So you sit down with your popcorn and coke hoping to savor a bit of that loss of youth, you tune in and there’s what they say is Megatron. You’re gonna have to take their word for it because outside of the name value it sure as hell isn’t the one you have burned in your mind and memory.
Point is are you understanding yet? Do you get it? Does anyone else who are no doubt going to read this get it? I hate this constant us verses them bullshit day in day out. We’re here cause we’re Transformers fans and that means ALL shows. Not just yours or mine.
Now that I’m done with that can we get back to the question? I wasn’t asking you all what show you liked or hate. I said do any of you have a Transformers figure/toy that you absolutely love but just so happens to come from a TV series that you actually didn’t like.
P.S. For the record I AM a G1 fan. But I do try to include all that has come since --- and without thinking those fans are deranged.

First off, good to see you around again Shinju!
For me, I hated the Engeron show. However I really like the Engergon Starscream. I have one, bought a 2nd and repainted it for Skywarp. Had I been able to get ahold of a 3rd I would have done a Thundercracker too. The mold is great and it was my all time favorate untill the classics line came out.
and Greed, your rude little crap needs to go else where. Understood boy?

Not really, Armada was poorly drawn and the other two series were mediocre at best. The digital animation in both Energon and Cybertron is horrible in comparison to BW/BM, just look at how expressive they were in BW/BM and how they looked like puppets in Energon and Cybertron.
(Just look at Cyb Prime, he really does have a puppet mouth.)
