We've seen upgrade kits for the classics seekers/coneheads, there's some more designs available on Shapeways... but I've never seen custom heads to make them different from each other. There are custom heads for the MP seekers but nothing I can find for the classics/generations ones...

So, I'd be interested in buying a couple custom heads with different facial expressions. Hasn't anyone thought of it before? :\

Come on guys, anyone who can design a couple seeker heads? Pretty please?

Do you have some art for what you're looking for? If you can give me something to go off of, I could probably come up with a design(s) and put it up on my Shapeways store for you. I don't have any of the classics seekers so I'll need to know how the head attaches and some basic dimensions of the original heads so I get it scaled right. If you want to give me something to go on as far as what you want them to look like, we can discuss details.

Problem is the head is part of the cockpit portion of the fusalage and nobody wants to have a jet with hand painted parts.

Well, I didn't have anything specific in mind, but maybe the character faces on the last pages of IDW's TF Infiltration TPB where you can see different facial expressions for the 3 main seekers... Something like that. Perhaps Starscream = mischievous smile, Skywarp = angry, Thundercracker = serious/sad.

Damn, you may be right. I guess it's more complicated than I thought.

Sounds like it may not be practical to replace the heads? Like I said, I don't have the mold so I can't tell what all's involved. Have you considered just doing some minor re-scuplting to the mouth area? You could probably get what you want by sanding the area down a bit, building it out with Apoxie Sculpt (or similar) and sculpt the mouth back in the way you want. Of course, that would still involve some painting.

Perhaps that's the way to go. Thanks for the replies
