Hello everyone. I have done some alterations to my Fansproject Bruticus Maximus and made a Custom Battle Gaia as well. Bruticus I just gave him a chest plate made from the original G1 mold (from a ruination) on the Battle Gaia I gave him a recolored head Chest plate (made from a KO Ruination) and some light paint applications. Both Barricade and Onslaught had a hole drilled into his ab area for connection of the ab piece. other then that they are no other modifications done to the figures
Here are the pictures my Bruticus is still in progress. But wanted to show the work. enjoy! First is a before picture of the Battle Gaia without the chest plate

Very nice
!
How did you mod the chest pieces exactly and get them to attach like that and are they on there securely? I'm curious as I might consider getting a chestplate from a G1 Bruticus mold and doing the same (I've never owned one, so I want to know how difficult it would be to do this before I consider shelling out the $ for that chest piece to decide whether or not to do so).

I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end. I am that which is, which was, and is yet to come.
And you will know my name is MEGATRON when I lay my vengeance upon you!

Thank you! It hold on firm doesn't come off unless you are to un peg it. I have been customizing figures for 3 years now. it took me 2 days 1 to cut and mold and 1 to paint. Here are the materials I used to make it.
thin razor blade form a box cutter
mighty putty (which turns into cement) at walgreens for 12 bucks
An old credit card or rewards card from grocery store.
the energon peg (pictured on the "before" Battle Gaia) its neon blue
A DREMEL
Scotch tape
lego bionic ball joint and connector
and the ruination chest plate
hope these old pics give some light on how to..
