Finally was able to pick up CW Legends Rodimus, the only one at my local Walmart.

I was looking forward to adding him to my Ever growing Hot Rod Display below, but ...


His left arm is exceptionally tight, and will not fold into car mode at all.

There's even a mangled stress mark developing on the joint. Not sure what to do.



Any suggestions?

The Arm has now snapped off. Going to glue it back in place, but it seems Rodimus will not be able to transform anymore.

He'll remain in robot mode for ever. Even with the broken shoulder, the pinned hinge will not rotate correctly to be transformed. Seems it was assembled incorrectly.

Aw man, that sucks. C'mon Hasbro, get it together with 1, quality control so this doesn't happen and 2, distribution so if it does the poor guy that gets the bad one can take it back and swap it for a good one.

Thanks, yeah it does. Distribution has been real spotty around here.

My area has been pretty good with that, I've seen Legends Hot Rodimus quite a few times.

Unfortunately, my local Walmart seems to lag behind in the waves for CS, while it has a full stock of R.I.D. items. It was the first time I had seen Rodimus, and it had a sole peg with Blastoff, Swindle, a couple brawls and a Vortex. But surprisingly no Skylynx or Onslaught to be seen yet. Just a wave one Red and Blue Prime, and a Battle Core Prime.
