Cybertron had some great stuff. I'd be a bit more interested in repaints than straight up repacks. Backstop though, buddy you look lazy. Not that the mold is great or anything and he is repainted but he's even less interesting in his new deco.

I was starting to wonder when I saw some of these guys at Wal-Mart the other day. Brakedown, Brushguard and Backstop (in original colors). Now two more of the critter ones. It feels like Hasbro is acknowledging there are animal form transformers, but doesn't want to make any new molds after the lukewarm receptions Classics Cheetor and Dinobot got. At least the Cybertron era guys have mechanical detail bits on them, so they sort of blend in to universe/classics lines.
Wonder if they'll reuse the deluxe molds too? I could see Brimstone as Cutthroat, or redeco Snarl in grey and blue (Wolfang) or as a wingless Fangry (we already got Weirdwolf)

PS: Undermine is a fugly lump of plastic, but Wreckloose is pretty sweet. And a punny name to boot.

They're most likely Market-Six exclusives, like Big Lots and Tuesday Morning. And Backstop looks good in those colors, can anybody pick him up for me? ;;)

I saw a similar gimmick at my local Superstore. It was the original Armada mini-cons in the generations packaging. Jolt, Reverb, Six-Speed, and one other I can't remember all in new redeco's. I do still like Undermine though

Aren't there any more crappy toys they can use?

Until the DotM line sees full release, no. ;)

Wasn't sure if I was the only one thinking along those lines. That resemblance is the only thing that might sway me towards picking this figure up but I'm going to have to find it at a darn good price.
