I recently bought the Universe Springer-Ratbat 2 pack and my Ratbat has a small problem with his Cyber Key gimmick. According to what I read inserting the key should make the Ultracon symbol appear and the blades pop out, and removing the key should make the Decepticon symbol reappear.

However, what's happening is that if I push the key in I only get about 90% of the Ultracon symbol and when I remove the key the Decepticon symbol limply staggers up halfway. Does anyone else have this problem? Does anyone know a fix?

Sounds like a weak spring.

The symbol being misaligned isn't common, but it happens. But since yours isn't snapping back, I'd say it's a bad spring. That piece should be able to be disassembled.

Take it apart, replace the spring?
