This guy is pretty! He really does a really good G1 Swoop impression!

hi guys :D

This is my second kitbash..definitly not the greatest.
Reece made a custom like this one...it's only right to say I copied on his work. I thought his work on Brimstone was marvelous and decided to do a copy of my own. Based on his rotating wing idea, I used balljoints to improve this feature and added the flexible wing articulation.
Added parts to do this were taken off Energon Duststorm (I had gotten 2 extra loose figures, thanks to ebay seller jazz-boy).
Silver and gold spray paint were used and also testors blue and red.
For doing this kind of modification I lost the ability to use the cyber planet key feature...not too heart breaking.
The missile launchers are from g1 starscream (thanks to ebay seller dit138).
For this kb I used a dremel, crazy glue, putty and paint. Unlike my other kb, I did not use any clear as it seems to remove the metal finish off my silver paint and leaves it metal grey without the shinning(same for gold paint..leaves it brown).
I had originally painted this kb with yellow instead of gold, after awhile, I decided to change the yellow into gold to match with the other G1 Dinobot toys (that I plan to mod someday). I'm sure I could've done better but I think I spent enough time on this guy. He looks pretty much what I expected him to even if some silver paint touch-ups would be required.

Hmm... though I'm not a huge fan of the brimstone model, this custom has something good. :)
There is a bit too much silver on though if I may be honest. :?

What other color would you suggest and on which parts should I change the color? Maybe you can't see it on the pics but I had painted some grey paint on the left lower leg and forearms to try and make it like the cartoon version but to be honest, the grey paint and silver pretty much look alike on the pics. I like your constructive comments so let me know what color changes I need to make to make it look better...i'm still not excellent at kitbashing and your help is appreciated. Thanks
