Autobase: Command Center

Ultra Magnus looked at his sensor display screen, wondering what was going on, and feeling generally angered at the uselessness of it all.

"Someone give me something to work with," he muttered to no one in particular.

(OOC: Yes, that is a not-so-subtle attempt to ask someone else to remind me just what was going on before the board ka-blooey. Trust me, once things have picked back up, some resemblance of normal posting habits will resume.)

Ooc: Since no one is helping...

[Uraya -- Outskirts]

The helicopter lowers itself to the ground, just enough for the medic to switch over. Her rotors stop moving, just as the entire copter shifts large parts to transform into her hover ambulance, right near the damaged Arcee. She requested for help in air lifting Arcee back to base with those on the ground, but they seem to be too preoccupied by the attackers from afar. Backing away slowly, and repositioning the rear of the emergency vehicle, she settles down for just a nano second. Both back doors open to reveal a stretcher-like platform with extending mechanics, which slides underneath the injured fembot. Once she believes she is secure, Emergency pulls the patient via stretcher platform into the vacant area inside her ambulance mode. Upon completing the proceedure, both doors shut behind her.

"I'll take care of her, don't worry."

Were Emergency's parting words just as the hover vanette drives off towards Upsilon base.

Autobase Upsilon- Gun Turrets

The gunner never did see where the fire came from that ripped Arcee to shreds but the bleep on the radar told Bluestreak he, or they, were hiding on the clifftops. Keeping the trigger squeezed on the turret the heavy laser fire should give enough air cover to dissuade any attackers from approaching the area.

autobase Upsilon Medical Ward

Kup was worried. He felt that it was taking to long for the medics to get poor Arcee here. He worried about the young mech and her condition. One thing bothered him however. What was she doing out there in the first place. No one that he knew of was on patrol duty.

Autobase Upsilon Command Center

Operator heard his Ultra Magnus's question and said. "Looks like there was some kind of explosion or laser fire out there sir, and it seems that Arcee was hit by it and severely hurt. The medics are out there and are trying to move her here so we can get her to the medical facility. Hopefully Kup got it up and running."

Across the command center Blacker was looking at the radar. He could not pinpoint where the blast came from and this is extremely annoying him. He turned to Magnus and said "I still can't get any kind for readings sir. Permission to scout the area myself for possible enemies."[/u]

Autobase Upsilon Command Center

Magnus wasn't willing to let anyone else stroll blithely into danger, but he wasn't going to get those already in danger into any more trouble than they already were.

"All right," Magnus said, the worlds leaving his vocal processor with great reluctance. "But I'm ordering Kup to go with you." He sent the message to the medical bay, knowing that was where the elder Autobot was likely to be.

Autobase Upsilon Command Center, Outside The Room

The sound of walking was heard in the hallway before it stopped, right outside of the Command Center room. Squinting his optics slightly, the bot reached into his sub-space compartment and pulled out a half-smoked mercury cigar. With the cigar now successfully in his mouth, he ground his thumb and fore-finger together and lit the mercury cigar.

"Found the place," mumbled The bot as he frowned slightly holding the cigar in his mouth a little tighter and entered the command center.

Once in the room, Monco searched around the room before he spotted the city Commander that was in charge of this region. Pulling his cigar out with his left hand, he looked at the still burning cigar before turning his gaze back to Ultra Magnus. "Greetings Commander," spoke Monco as he put his cigar back into his mouth.

[Autobase: Main Entranceway]

>>"Autobase, this is onsite Medical officer Emergency. I'm closing in fast by ground; i've got one injured inside my van spacing and will be there ASAP. I need someone to prep the medical ward if it hasn't already been done."

The red and white hover van was closing in on the base as fast as she could go over land. Internally, there were scanner equipment keeping track of Arcee's condition as the medical fem sped towards the main entrance. It was only time when she transmits entry codes to the main base door, known only to those who were there. The doors open wide just enough for the vehicle to pass through. the hallways were fairly lit, though any passing Autobot would hear the sirens coming from her, zigzaging through corridors to reach the medical facility.

Autobase Upsilon

Blacker responded to Ultra Magnus "Thank you sir" and ran out of the command center. Kup was running out of the Medical Bay when He finally caught up with Blacker. Both bots ran out of the Autobase after stepping aside for the medic that was most likely carrying Arcee in. Kup yelled to the medic "Medical facility is all set for you." Then both Blacker and Kup stepped out of the autobase and transformed into their vehicle modes and headed out.

Blacker said "We should head to the canyon tops where she was attacked and start there."

Magnus glared at Monco, immediately annoyed not only by his casual manner in what was clearly a serious situation, but the fact that he saw fit to be smoking in such a critical area.

"Put that slagging thing out now, and get to your emergency post," he ordered.

Nodding his head slightly, Monco lifted his leg and put the cigar out against the base of his foot. Putting the cigar back into his sub-space compartment, he then looked towards Ultra Magnus.

"Sure thing Commander," replied Monco nonchalantly, walking over to an empty console and began to type with his left hand, getting the multiple weapon systems online, one after the other. 'Why am I stuck on the computer anyway? I'm a gunslinger, not some computer jockey', thought Monco narrowing his optics as he continues to pound the keyboard, imputing code after code.

Outside Autobase Upsilon

Both Kup and Blacker had arrived at the point where Blacker determined where the blast that damage Arcee came from. Both transformed into robot mode. Kup turned towards Blacker and said "We should stick together just in case that mech is still in the area." As he turned around and looked.

Blacker only nodded and then started to look around. He noticed the scraps of rock in the area that showed where the fembot was when she was hit. This was the perfect place to launch that attack. He then looked on the ground in his area and noticed some footprints. Had to be the attackers. He scanned them and sent them back to base, and then he radioed "Blacker to base. I have found some footprints and have sent a scan back to be analyzed if possible."

Autobase Upsilon

Operator just looked around after he registered the scent of cigar smoke. He just shook his head at the autobot who brought it in and saw Ultra Magnus handling it. He then started to receive a message from Blacker and the turned towards Ultra Magnus. "Sir Blacker has found some footprints indented in the canyon. He has sent back some images for research."

Having seen that Kup and Blacker had arrived where he had seen the Decepticon Bluestreak had ceased firing on the area. It certainly seemed like the excitement had passed but Bluestreak didn't want to take any chanced and stayed right where he was optics on the targeting array, radar, and on the surrounding area.

On the main viewscreen of the Autobot base in Uraya, Optimus Prime’s face appeared.

Reports are coming in about some sort of Decepticon attack there and I need to get over there and take command of the situation. I am going to be too involved on the Polyhex situation to deal with it myself. Take whatever personnel you require along with you, as I suspect most Decepticon forces will be tied up for awhile in other battles. Prime out.”<<

As Prime's face disappeared, Magnus got to his feet and looked around, wondering for a moment who should accompany him on this mission. After several more moments of thought, he came to a decision.

"Operator, Monco, you're coming with me. Get ready to move out in five clicks."

He activated the base comlink. "Kup, I'm taking some troops to deal with a situation at the Tagan Heights. You're in charge till I get back. Make sure that Arcee is all right, and send Emergency to meet with me at the base perimeter."

"..Alright," replied Monco as he finished typing in the code for the last weapon system to come online. Pushing himself away from the console, he stood up and brought his revovler to inspect it before reholstering it.

Fun Turrets

With the radar clear of any sign of enemy bogeys Bluestreak was about to power down the turret when he had a second thought. Hitting his communications button, "This is Bluestreak, are we on stand down now? There's been no confirmation of targets and its getting boring sitting here." He didn't care who answered.

Operator pulled out his weapon and looked it over and then said to his commander "Yes sir!!" He got up and followed his commander out of the base.

Outside Autobase Upsilon

Kup received the message from Ultra Magnus and said. "Understood. Be carefull out there." He then switched his communicater to that of Emergency's. "Ultra Magnus wants you at the bases perimeter ASAP. It sounded urgent"

Magnus walked out of the base and walked to the rendevous point. Monco and Operator should be joining him shortly.

Outside autobase Upsilon

Operater ran outside to meet his commander and huffed and puffed. "I am sorry to keep you waiting sir. I am ready to move out when ever you are ready." Operater was nervous. He did not want to dissapoint his new commander. He only hoped he could impress Ultra Magnus enough on this mission.

Meanwhile Kup and Blacker were speeding back towards the base after radioing back their finds. Since Ultramagnus was going on a mission Kup needed to get back to make sure things stayed in order.

Outside Autobase

Ultra Magnus was both pleased and disenchanted with Operator's enthusiasm about the upcoming fight. It was one thing to be excited about the thrill of battle, but it was quite a different thing to see it on the face of someone so inexperienced. He just hoped that this situation would be one in which Operator would learn moderation, not the quickest way to the junkyard.

He transformed to his vehicle mode and sped off. "Then transform and roll out. We've got a job to do."

As he moved, he sent off a message to the Autobots at Tagan:

"To the Autobot commander at Tagan. This is Ultra Magnus. I'm coming in with reinforcements. Give me a status report on your situation there."

OOC: We'll continue this in the Tagan thread tomorrow.

Not waiting to long after his arrival, Monco turned his head slightly and took in the other bot. 'So a young and inexperienced bot is joining us? Then I must keep my optics out of this one. He could potentionly bring us down with his inexperienceness', thought Monco before turning towards the horizon which would lead to Tagan Heights.

"...Then So be it....," mumbled Monco as he shifted to his truck form and took off after his commander.

Defense Gunpods

Bluestreak stepped out of the gunner seat having not received a reply from anyone. As if he had been forgotten. Taking a last look over the horizon he headed down into the base to the command center.
