Got 10321 in the mail from The Entertainer, no snipped fingers.

You have to check the product codes stamped next to the Paramount logo. Check the News Archives or a few pages back for the exact codes.

ah thx i was lookin all over the package for it an i found it its just a indentation its not a printed thing

To top it off, it seems any code lower than 10191 has a 100% intact rate, so those should be safe.

So I went to my Wal-Mart tonight to get the last 03651 figure they had. I got it, and was on my way to look for something else, and stumbled across a HUGE DOTM endcap, separate from the regular spot.

So of course I start pawing through them, looking for Crankcase. The first one was 10601, but then I found SIX MORE with the 03651 code. I bought 3, and left 3. I got home and opened one and, as expected, he did have intact fingers!

Here's a picture for a little proof.

If a Seibertronian wants me to hook them up, I will!

FYI the TRU in Douglaston NY only had the 10601 Crankcases in stock, something tells me it's a NY thing.

WalMart in Bethel Park, PA, #10601, cut (though it's at least an even cut, and the same length on both fingers. Have to see if I can scare up some pics of an uncut figure, I might be able to fab new fingers with Mighty Putty.)

On the other hand, OMG new stock! I haven't seen that since Wave 1 RTS hit.

Keep in mind that 5 year olds and 6 year olds collect these too. Nevermind a selected few shooting other 1st graders in school (which the shootings mostly happen between 11-18), this leaves parents very concerned for their child going up to someone, putting their middle fingers up and saying "I'm Crankcase." They'll get smacked.

And don't take your anger out on us please.

Picked one up at Walmart in Ofallon MO and it had all its digits intact. They must really have cut costs on the new figures, cheaper plastic and crappier joints.

Looks ok though, albeit its tiny.

We've got the 10601 figures here in NW Washington State. My kids and I went to a Wal-Mart north of the Seattle area this afternoon and the only # on the Crankcase selection was that one and I sorted through all of them. I remembered it from the list and didn't even attempt buying one. Just left it shelf-warming along with the over abundance of Skids figures. Actually, none of the figures were moving very fast and I know they didn't re-stock last night since I have the stocking schedule for all the Wal-Marts and Targets in the area nailed down. I'll check the one closer to my house on Wednesday night to see if they have any Crankcase in the new shipment since none arrived during the initial release.

I got two, both with 10601 as the serial number, and both with chopped fingers,from a Walmart in NJ.

I live in Iowa and so far, the only two numbers for Crankcase that I've seen are 10561 and 10601. While it is a pretty neat-looking figure, I really don't want to play the proverbial Russian Roulette it. I don't want to have a Transformer on display that has been broken since before I opened it and have no way in fixing it myself.

UPDATE: I'm in Daytona Beach, FL. I went to Target and 2 Wal-marts...all of them had number l0601 except for one figure at Wal-Mart was 10531!! Bought it....fingers are...chopped off...AND on the pincer's on the front they are both right sides!? did anybody else have this issue with the pincers on the front?!! WTF....biggest POS figure I have ever bought...it doesn't even transform right, the arms snap off constantly, frankly I'm kinda mad Hasbro...biggest waste of $10 ever! See for yourself~

Just transformed Crankcase for the first time last night. I think Crankcase is one of my favorites from this line. He's awesome. He's like the love child of a dog, the Predator, Terminator, a Chevy Suburban, and an Insecticon. I love it.

Apparently you didn't see my post above...still pretty pissed, and I disagree...transforming him is annoying, don't get me wrong I'm 28 and don't have a problem with it, but you gotta think about the newer generations...they are gonna think TF's are stupid after buying this one..I'm sure some parents are already sick of there kids asking them to transform it back and forth because its so compact and all the parts have to be facing the right position, etc. I want my money back on this one..or wish I never would of opened it.

I'm OK with the manicure. I was just woried all of them would be cut. They actually look even and the way mine was cut, it looks like a small point.
