What's wrong with Swamp Thing? One of the better Nu52 comics.

Leave it to Dead Metal to have the word 'Pronz' in his signature.

If you're going to contribute to this thread then do it without being patronising.
If you have a problem with duragrips posts, then use the "Foe" option in the User Control Panel to ignore him.
That goes for everyone else as well. Staff will not tolerate abuse, harassment, or any other form of negative attitude towards other members just because their posts annoy you when you have the option to add them to a block list so you cannot see their posts.

Byrne is a bit of a Kirbyesque on another level, equally great. George Perez and Jerry Ordway too.......what happened to those guys now?

Neal Adams and Mike Grell are guilty pleasures for me. They also peaked before my time. Ed Benes and Jim Lee are OK. I prefer the work of Brett Booth, Tom Lyle, Gary Frank, and Leonard Kirk over them.Byrne is a bit of a Kirbyesque on another level, equally great. George Perez has left both Marvel and DC saying their both too corporate top heavy and signed a deal with Boom! Studios and Byrne is pretty much the same only he's signed at IDW. I don't know what Jerry Ordway is up too these days.duragrip wrote:Was the Dark Knight Returns comic just like the animated movies, like the fight between Batman and Superman?
Actually it's a lot longer in the movie (almost to a stupid level) than it is in the book, and the book doesn't have nonsense like Batman like throwing a giant wrecking ball at Superman. In the book their "final" battle is a short and nasty fight to fool President Reagan.
