I still can't wait to get my hands on my copy, I'm glad this design is getting a modern official figure. The original toy looked awesome. (I really love how this toy keeps the OG toy's stylings and detailing while using the anime inspiration to polish up the proportions.)

Definitely looking forward to this. Seems like there were fewer interim updates on this as opposed to VS last year. But as long as they deliver on time, I guess it makes little difference.
Haslab had a good year funding 4 of 4 projects,.as opposed to failing 3 of 4 prior to that.
Definitely looking forward to seeing what the 40th anniversary Haslab will be in early 2024, although I have a feeling it will be Cybertron/Primus.

Exciting news for all you Haslab Deathsaurus backers out there: looks like he is getting ready to ship out!
Everyone who backed the Legendary Emperor of Destruction started receiving emails from Hasbro Pulse this week notifying them that he will be shipping out soon, and requested all backers update their address as necessary for his arrival. Pulse asked all updates be submitted by November 24, suggesting that, like Victory Saber last year, Deathsaurus will ship out just in time for the holidays.
So go on and check your email if you haven't already, get your address updated, and get ready for the Emperor of Destruction!

Not sure how well praying to Primus works for characters from Japanese continuity, but same here. I still haven't done anything with my Star Saber because I keep procrastinating about drilling out that missing slot to attach his nosecone. Even bought a fresh dremel from Harbor Freight, but I can't seem to find the right time.Immortal Starscream wrote:here's to praying to not having all the same issues I had with star saber.

In the video, Evan reveals that the original plan for Deathsaurus when he was going to be part of the main line at retail was a mere retool of Studio Series 86 Grimlock. He was glad that didn't happen since making Deathsaurus a HasLab allowed the figure to be done right.
