Now, y'all remember the scene in Transformers: The Movie where the "unfit" 'Cons were thrown out of Astrotrain, right? Then they all rumbled for the leadership position?

We all remember that Starscream came out on top (albeit very breifly), but who do you think will come out on top?

Screamer, Blitzwing, Dirge, Ramjet, Thrust, or...
The Constructicons, or...
Soundwave and his cassettes (Rumble, Frenzy, Ravage and Laserbeak)?

Keep in mind they're scuffling inside of Astrotrain's shuttle mode, so they're all basically limited to good ol' fisticuffs. Aerial assaults and combining pose the same problem: Lack of space.

I'd have to throw my vote towards Bltizwing. Just seems he's mean enough, armored enough, and well armed enough!

I'll vote soundwave, since he himself is a nasty customer, plus his own posse..that rumble alone can take down the constructicons, who are best outfitted to close combat with the mech muscle.

I doubt that would work for Astrotrain, because there;s too many of them. If he tried to transformed, he would get gutted. He could probably kill 1 or 2, but not 10 or so.

But I am gonna go with Blitzwing as well. he has the individual weaponry and defenses to take on the others. The only one who might pose a threat is Soundwave, but he would have to have all his cassettes.

oh that's true. if astrotrain can't fight soundwave could probably win because the only one thats a threat is devaststor and their inside astrotrain so how well is that gonna work out :?:

As your local representative of Starscream Fangirl Gooshiness, I'm obliged to say Starscream.

Astrotrain doesn't have the ambition--it's not just about ass-whompery, my friends, but who would want the job. Not everyone wants to be leader. Leadership, for those who have ever been in that position, *sucks*. That also, in my mind, eliminates most of the others.

The only real contender in this list as I see it is Soundwave.

And honestly, Soundwave and Starscream, I'd still pick Screamer--he's fast and devious. However, add in Soundwave's cassettes, and, I might have to go for Soundwave.

Not to mention that Blitzwing and the cone heads would likely back Screamer and get a share of the power rather than have ultimate authority and responsibility for themselves.

Imagine being Megatron's troops. You'd be so repressed. You wouldn't dare try to be leader. You wouldn't develop your leadership skills very much. Only Starscream dared sometimes. No one else quite had the will to lead that tough group.
