Decepticon Scout Class Figures

Postby ShardFenix » Thu Nov 04, 2010 11:09 pm

Ok, i need some help. I need to find a scout class decpticon who is awesome on the level of breacher...

Yes on breacher's level. To give you an idea i think breacher beats some deluxe size models, he is just that great.

As of right now i'm looking at dead end and back fire, but for some reosn think there has to be someone better...

HELP?!?!

Hmm, now that you mention it, I only have one Decepticon Scout that I've opened and that's Brakedown. He's really not in stores anymore, so I guess I'm not helping much...but he's a cool little figure!

Dude, 3 that you can possibly consider come to my mind considering I only have a few scouts anyway. You can try for Divebomb and Skystalker and as a possible third Sunspot. I would like to get G2 Dreadwind just for Smokescreen alone! The biggest pro of all 3 is that they have weapons which sad to say most scouts don't have. And even though Divebomb don't got the speed or manueverability that Skystalker or Sunspot got, his look(paint apps) is an over all coolness that got me to pick him up. A look that's way better than that of Ransack.

So there it is dude, my 2 cents with no sense and I hope it helps in your choice. :CON:

Knock Out was repainted as a Decepticon but I can't remember his name. He's pretty cool. I prefer him to Brakedown as he has a weapon.

Backfire is an autobot. The decepticon decos of that mold are Reverb and Trenchmouth.

Anyway, I say Skystalker is the best Decepticon scout, although his redeco, Sunspot, which is availble now is a little wonky, IMO...

In the last 2 weeks, I've bought Oilpan and Crankstart.

I love Breakdown so Oilpan was a must. Nice toy though the orange colour scheme is boring. I think the fact that Breakdown homaged his G1 self nicely was part of his appeal.
Wouldn't mind a homage to RID REV from the mold.

Crankstart isn't bad. He's a repaint of the Autobot Dunerunner.

Have thought about Insecticon but he seems too Movie/Beast to me. Like G1-esque bots.

I'm suprised nobody's mentioned Brimstone. He's a good mold with a nice transformation. Skystalker is a good one too because of his weaponry.

He's a few years old but Cybertron Hardtop is one of my favorite figures of all time. I especially like his movieline repaint.

I'd love a repaint and head remold of Hardtop as Ruckus. But then I'd settle for a repaint of Defence Hot Shot as Ruckus too.

Maybe the new Windcharger will get repainted as G2 Gobot Megatron since his head is very reminiscent of Megatron, to me at least.
