Yay or Nay?

I am considering getting him but I do have a couple of concerns

1. In robot mode, how well does he scale with other Deluxe characters?
2. Is it worth getting?

I have HFTD Optimus Prime (both the Takara version and the regular bladed version) and think this is probably the best movie-verse Optimus Prime from the Voyager class. But the Deluxe version is kinda appealing because of its size and probably would scale nicely with Voyager Megatron and Blackout, but at the same time it doesn't look too accurate based on pics I have seen.

Thoughts?

I passed on him due to his size. I'd say thats about the only reason to get it. if you were displaying him with DOTM Megs and Grindor/Blackout.

He does look like he'd make a nice one to be custom painted perhaps? Scourge or Black Optimus/convoy? But like you, I have the HFTD BB Optimus and he seems to be the best of the voyagers IMO

I am mildly considering getting him so that I can have a Prime in scale with figures like Blackout and Bonecrusher.

I'm getting him solely to have another addition to the Deluxe Prime & Megatron family

I already have both Protoforms from the first movie line, and Deluxe Starscream. May as well finish it with Deluxe Prime

Ahh, almost forgot about Bonecrusher. That would be awesome, but mostly if the Deluxe Prime had the Blades.

Its leaps and bounds better than DOTM Voyager Prime. Its what you'd expect, it has some kibble issues, though not as much as the first Voyager Prime or the DOTM Voyager Prime but all in all its a really good figure.
