..can someone explain what Steve's weapon turns into?
Of course Rodimus is way out of scale. And Grimlock. And Megatron. The decision to make the robot modes of MPs in-scale with each other came after they made MP Hot Rod.Flux Convoy wrote:Way too small. No MP figure should be that small. If he's just the right size then Rodimus is wildly out of scale. Sideswipe should be about chest level with Prime.
Alt/BT Sideswipe isn't G1 accurate. And if you're THAT concerned about the price tag, wait till MP-12's domestic release for like $35-40.Flux Convoy wrote:So what exactly are you trying to say. Rodimus isn't radically out of scale? A MP Sideswipe SHOULD be as small as a voyager? You can't possibly tell me that's an acceptable size for the money and believe it. If that's the case, we already got Alternators/BT Sideswipe to fill that gap. I don't need Sideswipe to fit in the GD trailer that I'm storing in the first place. What I need in such a figure is a nicely sized representation of him that boils down all the essentials into one good toy. Also, bear in mind how often that official scale guide is rendered moot in the show.
I'm pretty sure that Sideswipe's car mode just happened to be the right scale for it, rather than them trying to scale both modes just right.craggy wrote:scaling Sideswipe's car mode to fit the Prime trailer surely makes a mockery of the "scaling robot modes" idea, non?

There are atandarfs to maintain.

As orangeitis said, the decision to make the MPs in scale with each otehr came after the MP Rodimus Convoy toy was made. Though, As Rodicmus Convoy, the toy IS in scale since both Convoy and Rodimus Convoy were the same height. It's only as Hot Rodimus that he's out of scale.Flux Convoy wrote:So what exactly are you trying to say. Rodimus isn't radically out of scale?
It is when they're trying for show-accurate sizes.Flux Convoy wrote:A MP Sideswipe SHOULD be as small as a voyager?
The size is fine. It's the price that's outrageous.Flux Convoy wrote:You can't possibly tell me that's an acceptable size for the money and believe it.
He's not G1-accurate, nor does he fit in the Masterpiece toyline.Flux Convoy wrote:If that's the case, we already got Alternators/BT Sideswipe to fill that gap.
If you don't want it, don't buy it.Flux Convoy wrote:I don't need Sideswipe to fit in the GD trailer that I'm storing in the first place. What I need in such a figure is a nicely sized representation of him that boils down all the essentials into one good toy.

The only one we've ever seen. It's not pictured here. He's referring to images of it that we saw at a previous time.Va'al wrote:...which jet vehicon?
