Devastator reporting..WTH? Brawl?

I'm sur ethis has been discussed before but I was wondering why thye call the tank devestator in the movie, yet teh figure is Brawl?

Didn't Bay state naming him Devastator was an easter egg for the TF fans, a hint for the sequel?
