The selection in Vancouver is pretty damn good. And the prices are better than BBTS and on par with HLJ. Ended up snagging a Figma Kamen Rider Wing Knight.

There's an interesting story about how Max Factory was able to do those figures outside of Bandai's control.

What's the story? I'm guessing it's because they used the Kamen Rider Dragon Knight brand name which is American, instead of the Kamen Rider Ryuki name which would be under Bandai's jurisdiction?

I only learned about Figma a while a go but I've been in love ever since. Wish I could snag the Code Geass ones at a reasonable price :sad:

. Back on topic, I actually ordered my first Figma this week and hopefully she will be here soon (I ordered the Append Hatsune Miku). I totally loved her design, especially because she kinda reminded me of Sari. Well, In my mind I kinda see her as an avatar of the All Spark that still maintains her hunam aspects. Nerdy I know, but I don't claim to be anything otherwise :-B

Will have to think of some good pics to take of her in the meantime...

She's great isn't she? I managed to work in getting all the Eva girls. They're a lot of fun.

Yea! I plan to get Rei and Mari eventually. I'm disappointed that there isn't a Shinji or Misato though. You should Add some more pics. They are alot of fun to pose. I can't think of any toy that poses as well as Figma. Though The new Transformers Prime Figures have a generous amount of flexibility too.

A pleasant weekend trip downtown between a girl and her reluctant boyfriend(?)
