Here's pics of the set I have:

At the time I got this off of ebay, no one seemed to bid because the starting bid was $25. Then it ended late at night...lucky me. The color scheme is nicer and more toon accurate. The bonus is the Dark Saber team is clear, not filled in like the US version, but I think the Takara version is what we were supposed to get.

Now I don't know if the Dark Saber team comes clear separately or not.

If they are opaque, someone used the Hasbro version in place of the Takara version. The Saber team was also released alone but they were still translucent.

If they are Translucent then it is correct.

And Rampage had some color changes from his American counterpart.

The Yellow racing stripes are replaced by different All Spark Blue stripes, and the slashed Autobot logo is a darker less vibrant shade of maroon instead of the really bight red used in the Armada toy.

Hopefully they only replaced the saber and not the complete toy.

Well that's good that the Takara Dark Saber is clear individually too. Didn't want to fork over the money for another Rampage + DS set. My Rampage is fine, it's just BBTS got fooled by this DS thief! Thief! Thief!

I was late to respond. BBTS will look into it for you. They did me a solid many times. I would email them, though I know it can't be replaced. I remember being upset that they showed one Dark Saber set in the Armada catalog as clear. I disliked the opaque set so I took it back many moons ago.

Incidentally, there is an opaque Star Saber set out there. CP knows about it!!
