Found a pic here, I never realised it was that bad

Seems the plastic is of cheaper quality and more brittle than their G1 counterparts. They feel so light and flimsy to me.
My Tracks reissue broke immediately along the foot.....like literally sheered in half.
These toys are made,it seems to me, without playability in mind. Unlike G1, which was actually meant to be played with and abused by kids, which the reissues are not. Therefore being of lesser quality IMO.
I would recommend staying away from reissues and hunt for the originals.
The real deal is far more satisfying to own from a collector point of view and for nostalgic reasons. Plus they're better quality even 2o plus years later..least that's the way it is for me.

Although i'm a bit of a hypocrite cause i did buy me a Piranacon set that should be in the mail as we speak and i'm SUPER pumped about it!! yes....the original is way too expensive and he did need to get reissued! Just so the average joe can have one and enjoy.
So it boils down to personal preference i guess and if ya got the cash to shell for the originals. Which some times i do and sometimes i don't.
I just prefer vintage.
