Reminded me more of Scourge...
And I certainly don't object to downplaying the mandibles.

Before I say anything else, I just want to make a point clear: I like Bayverse designs as much as I like Generations and Classics. But the gimmicks in the movie lines are getting more and more annoying.
I've never liked the first two mechalive and automorph gimmicks, but I totally LOATHE mechtech!
Not only are we getting holes in the alt modes of our figs, now they're smaller because they had to divert some of the plastic from the fig itself to make the weapons.
As for Barricade, I'm still on the fence with this one. I like that he's got actual hands and front lights, but that's his only saving grace. IMO, the 2007 Cade fig trumps DOTM has better bot mode proportions, and solid legs.

Good looking mold but the head is ridiculous. Funny, but unnecessary. I hope Barricade makes it to the third film, even if it is just to die. We need to put this character to rest.

I thought about the same thing ! IMO original Deluxe Barricade's head is very poor in detail, the new one is more similar to HA Barricade's head.
If no third-party company releases a head replacement for ROTF Barricade, I will certainly buy a second DOTM Barricade for the head transplant

Fantastic mold here. Far, far better than the mediocre 2007 version which never really resembled the excellent CGI model at all and very much like a downsized of the superb HA Barricade figure at first glance. Very nice work.
I have anxiety, depression and aspergers syndrome so my behaviour can be erratic. I don't mean offense to anyone. Just very picky about my Transformers collecting. You're all cool!
Likes: Bayverse, Marvel UK G1, Geoff Senior art, '86 movie (more for style/soundtrack rather than Star Wars plot)
Dislikes: Bumblebee movie (lousy rehashed dumb crud), TFA, G1 cartoon, IDW G1, BW/BM, MP. The entire concept of Autobot Megatron
