Um, I'm pretty sure it is edible. Have you ever watched his show and what he can do?

There's a woman in RI who does similar cakes and she's amazing. Everything she uses is 100% edible.

You can't eat them. The cakes are pretty much wooden planks and an "icing" that has more in common chemically with rubber than sugar. That and the metal skeleton to hold it all together.

Actually, you can. He uses more cake than metal and wood. It will probably be delecious too. If you've ever seen Cake Boss or Food Network challenge, you should check it out. They do amazing things with cakes.
