Are the snipped middle fingers on Transformers Dark of the Moon deluxe class Crankcase keeping you from buying him? You may be in luck. According to internet personality Vange1us, the 5 digit code next to the Paramount logo on the back of the DOTM packaing is the key. It is being reported that Crankcases with the code 10601 have a manicure while figures with the 10131 and 10561 have "the bird" flying high. What code does your Crankcase have?

I was happy to discover that mine hasn't been neutered but they look so damn stupid I think I'll cut them off anyway! I'll do a better job than Hasbro did though.

At TRU they had one with a 10801 code. There was another one with a 10601 code, so I compared them to make sure it was really an "8" and not a "6", but it was definitely an "8": 10801.

I didn't buy it. I don't want to take the chance. When Hasbro issues an apology and announces that they are recalling all the clipped ones, maybe then I'll buy Crankcase.

I've opened 2 "03651" figures now, and they were both OK. Also, I've been told by three other people that they bought "03651" figures and they were unclipped also.

What I'm getting at is...I can get you one, Guy. I'll only charge you retail + shipping, if you want it! If you're nervous about it, I can open it first. If it's clipped - I'll keep it. How's that?

I got Crankcase on Tuesday completely forgetting that he might be manicured, I was so happy to find out he had his middles

If anybody needs him sealed i found a few with 10131 on the back of the card, bought 1 for myself and he does have the middle finger.
