A personal favourite. I was actually shocked when Sentinel Prime just turned and rusted Ironhide to death. So unfortunate..Dunno about you guys but i wished it were the other 'less' prominent characters that was killed by Sentinel. Haiz..Still reeling from the fact that this is the last in this saga. Hopefully they will have a new spin off...

Some features of this custom

- Plastic parts were sanded, filed and treated to give a more realistic steel feel

- Starburst Metallics with UV protection.

- Extreme detailing with paint washes, dirt and stains at the feet.

- Robot body was shaded in platinum silver for a very vibrant and striking metal sheen finish.

- Mudstains for the wheels.

Just to bring to your attention, there are 2 types of blacks here. The windscreens were painted in pure black while the body was airbrushed in Starburst Metallic Black.

If he's DOTM Ironhide shouldn't he be a pile o' dust? :lol:

But in all seriousness it's a truly fantastic figure. I love how much more realistic it looks with all the better paint, and i'm absolutely digging the tires. Looks like real mud! But it is a shame that he dies so early on in the movie, and doesn't even get avenged. I was shocked at that part. Super spiffy figure!

Literally the ONLY bad thing about this custom is the mold used. Honestly, look at that thing. It's a plastic abrotion. It's as if the designers stabbed themselves repeated in the brains with rusty coat-hangers after they finished the legs.

But honestly, if this was an offical toy, I'd by is in a heartbeat, just for the awesome truck mode.
