Hasbro at the SDCC 2011 convention got asked this question. Hasbro said NO DOTM Leader sized toys from Shockwave nor megatron. this is all the confirmation I need.

I don't listen to fandom rumors nor do I believe fanodom rumors. I prefer to believe official sources like Hasbro,Takara,TOMY,IDW & Activision.

When has Hasbro been completely truthful when asked questions about the Transformers toyline. Hasbro excels in half truths and they change their minds quite often.

5-most veteran TF fans know that their are only a few toy slots available per year for the TF toy sizes. the bigger the toy & the less toy slots available per year. it doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure out the following: If we get a leader sized DOTM Shockwave & leader sized DOTM Megatron toy. that's 2 wasted toy slots for the 2012 TF toy year. we could have received 2 more leader sized TF Prime toys instead for the 2012 TF toy year. or 2 generations leader sized toys instead for the 2012 TF toy year.

5a-To create the bigger sized TF toys takes more energy,more man power,more materials,more testing,more money,more designs sketches,more proto types & so forth.

5)Since 2002,every single TF toy line supported by a new cartoon series or new movie,has received leader class & supreme sized TF toys.
so going by past examples,it's a safe bet to assume & expect leader sized & maybe supreme sized TF toys for TF Prime.

I'd love a DotM LC Shockwave, but I would not be surprised if those who were unhappy with RotF LC Megatron end up with a LC Shockwave mold (even though I think RotF LC Megs is underrated). Their Cybertronian designs are too similar, and I'm nervous about Shockwave not even having an alt mode featured in the movie. His voyager tank mode interfered too much with his voyager robot mode with treads up and down his sides.
